Remembering Leroy 'Sugar' Bonner - Ohio Players

Just listening to Angel and thinking about my favorite group, The Ohio Players. The distinct voice of Sugarfoot cannot be denied.

A little before the 1 year anniversary but with so much saddness in the world, let music free your soul.

ThankUPrince!

I like the solo CD. Fortunately, I purchased prior to his passing and got it for approx $12.00. Amazon prices now are ridiculous!

Just love his voice. So often immitadated.

ThankUPrince!

His smooth cosmic vocal is legendary. I can listen to Heaven Must Be Like This and

Honey all day. He's probably the 4th father of funk behind JB, Sly Stone, and George Clinton.
