Do you guys even track down your favorite non-English songs? Or do you just stream them on Youtube?

Each song I posted I own on disc. It wouldn't be much of a favorite if I had to rely on youtube every time to hear it.

Favourite song in my native language Dutch, 'Vlieg Met Me Mee (Het Avontuur)' (Fly Away With Me [Adventure]) by singer Trijntje Oosterhuis:

.

.

WORD! Good choise, this Dutch tune from 'Train-Cha' - many of her songs are good, but most are in English.

One I really like is Edsilia Rombley's song 'Meer Dan Ooit' (More than ever) - what a coincidence, she's married to Trijntje's brother Tjeerd Oosterhuis. https://www.youtube.com/w...cbSns9o7gY Her whole album is gooood!

A dozenv of Ramses Shaffy songs are very good and in my top 10:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5cntzEZo1w

But my favorite is the Dutch song 'Ik voel me fijn', by Dinand Woesthoff and his young son. Dinand is the lead singer of the band Kane. Woezel and Pip are two characters in a long funny and educational series of kids movies and comics etc (found by Dinand's late wife Guusje Nederhorst), please have a listen:

Zangelewa! An excellent tune by a few members of the Camaroonian Presidential Guard. the song was later butchered by Shakira for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Here's a wildly popular song in Spanish by the Argentine group Enanitos Verdes (Little Green Giants) called "Lamento Boliviano" (Bolivianan Sadness)

I get my Japanese and Korean albums from Yesasia.com, I can find a lot of Indonesian stuff on so-called 'pasar malams', which are Indonesian cultural fairs here in Holland. Our local CD store has an okay assortment of French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese music I sometimes rummage through.

That's a really cute song. Kane's first 2 albums are still awesome. I love Edsilia as well. One of the great voices in recent Dutch popular music.

.

Here's a somewhat forgotten classic by Re-Play. Sranan represent!

.

.

They were great when Mark Dakriet was still with them.

I don't want your rhythm without your rhyme

Sounds amazing. But his voice is exactly like Jeff Buckley reincarnated in Icelandic (at least in this song). I just youtubed more of his stuff and I really like him. Thanks for the introduction.

Change it one more time..

Here's another favorite that I have from Hector Lavoe and Willie Colon, the two greats of salsa music:
