He was 14. He was probably thinking that saying that word is an act of coolness. He recently made an apolgy for his other video where he also pronounced the n word. Whoever supplies TMZ with this is someone who hates JB so much as we all do but thought that this could end his career (It could). Biebs is mostly surrounded with black people, even Usher saw these clips at the time they were filmed and he taught JB that what he did is racist.

I despise JB and his ego... but this has no right to end his career, what would y'all say if a hater of yours posted on Facebook a clip of yours when you were like 14 (a kid, obviously) saying racist words you never thought at the time were so hurtful? (Take in account at the time he filmed all this / circa 2009 / he had just arrived from Canada where he obviously had no background of the racism in US)

Anyway, I think JB's career is kinda FINISHED already, like, ever since he egged that neighbor.... Ain't that enough?

Why are you worried about his career? If you don't like his music, then don't buy his records. If other people want to, then they can do that.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

The fact that he did this at age 14 doesn't make it any less offensive. He wasn't mentally challenged at that age and it's obvious that he thought he was being funny and smart bringing the KKK in it to add injury to insult. I actually gave this guy a pass for all the criticism he took regarding his career in the past when he was a kid but this behavior is inexcusable.

I never paid attention to the dude anyway but since this is the second recent racist incident to make the news I have no problem with his stupid ass getting raked on the coals. Fuck him and his music.

Have you guys heard that there's a third video out now? I don't know what's going on but it seems that some of the same tabloids that were building up the Bieber hype are stabbing him in the back like crazy!

It's just a matter of time before Timberlake's racist videos surface, LOL smile

But it seems to me that some of these Bieber videos seem almost scripted in a way. It's hard to describe. I wonder what Usher and Will Smith said to Bieber privately.

It seems pretty clear that there are some people who have a crazy vendetta against this kid. Posting one video was bad enough, now these folks are releasing a video damn near every day? They should leave this kid alone already.

Do you ever get the impression that someone made Bieber make those videos? Even though Usher is his mentor, his actual manager isn't black. I also wonder how/why TMZ has these videos. Harvey Levin said a few days ago (when the first tape was release) that TMZ had the video all that time but decided not to air it because it could potentially ruin Bieber's career. Then, Levin says that they decided to post the website so that JB would have a chance to "respond to it". TMZ is working with a British tabloid to create serious PR nightmares for Bieber with the INTENTION to ruin his career.

The irony in this situation is that Bieber will probably seek solace with his black friends and associates more than ever.

This whole situation reeks of extortion and a vendetta against Bieber.

I don't think so. It's just tabloids being tabloids. Catching famous people doing embarrassing things is how they make a living.

Look I wouldn't want to be judged for stupid shit I did as a 14 year old. Sometimes you say things you don't really mean jut to be shocking and make people laugh, because you don't know any better. I'd be more concerned if it was revealed he was a volunteer for the White Citizens Party or something like that.

But I think the world is annoyed enough with Bieber to try him as an adult for this. Live by the fame, die by the fame.

I also hope it ends TMZ, as they used these videos as blackmail for four years to force Beiber to appear on their show.

These tabloid sharks KNEW these tapes were out there. Why did they sit on them for five years? It seems like this was designed to be a career killer for Bieber. Now, he's going to run into the arms of Usher, Mayweather, Will Smith and others in his time of need.

You better believe it! Just two days ago, Harvey Levin said that they got word that someone was trying to extort Bieber. Harvey knowing good and damn well that HE is the one orchestrating this smear campaign that is really an attempt at extortion. He was also in the "Justin isn't racist" camp as well. What a slime ball. He orchestrated the release of this tape and then pretends to have no connections to the situation. As if!

It's like years ago when Benzino from The Source magazine leaked 2 old unreleased songs (Foolish Pride & So Many Styles) by Eminem. Eminem sued. Later Benzino beefed with others around Eminem like 50 Cent & Busta Rhymes.

I wasn't suggesting that how long they kept the tapes as the main issue, however, it really looks bad when you openly admit that you've had the tapes, decided not to initially release them because you didn't want to hurt Bieber and then boom five years later you release the tapes because some boogeyman is "extorting" Bieber.

I bet the ones doing the extortion is TMZ.

I can understand that, ok, he was 14 or,15, and was ignorant in his use of that term and racist beliefs at that time, but.. you have to wonder how deep was his interest in the kkk, at such a young age. Ironic today, how his music career profits from the type of music, known to be born out of the very community he made those ignorant comments about. Life sure is strange sometimes. His comments came back to bite him in his little azz. Will be interesting to see how he deals with this.
Waiting for someone to blame rappers for excusing or justifying Justin's comments. whistle

The rappers already have excused him, so to speak. There are articles by different black rappers, singers, etc. that said they have no hard feelings towards him and they are still friends. I wonder if Country music are this forgiving smile

A collaboration brings money, that's why. Some of those guys would sell their souls for another dollar. So fuck them. At 14/15 my views (and any intelligent persons) were formed pretty much. Beiber has no excuse for this. Fuck him obviously.

Yeah you make a good point. All of those collaborations bring in big bucks. I think you're right, it's more about money than anything. Either that or they are just close friends. Maybe it's a blend of both. They were so quick to defend this guy.

Here's a few of JB's friends in action! smile

TMZ Blackmailed Justin Bieber with Racist Video for Years

When a video of pop star Justi...cist jokes was published last week by British tabloid The Sun, it was hard to tell who lost more: Bieber, or TMZ, which purchased the video years ago and has used it to extort appearances and call-ins from Bieber ever since.

That TMZ had the video for years isn't a secret. In its post on Sunday the gossip site acknowledged that it had possession of the video "4 years ago," (the video was likely made in August 2010, while Bieber was filming the documentary Never Say Never) but "decided not to post it ... in large part because he was 15 and immediately told his friends what he did was stupid."

But according to multiple sources with knowledge of TMZ's editorial operations, there was another, more pressing reason to keep the video secret: to hold it over Bieber and his team's heads in exchange for appearances on TMZ's media properties and cooperation with stories.

"TMZ has been sitting on this video for 3+ years," one source, who worked with TMZ at the time the video came into the publication's hands, told us, "and have been using it as essentially ransom so that Bieber and his team would cooperate with them and give them scoops. It was very close to being released initially, but his team was able to convince them not to by giving them access and compliance." A TMZ spokesperson denied that the company agreed to suppress the tape in exchange for access, calling the allegation "absolutely not true."

But we're told that the day after the site reached an agreement with Bieber's team, Bieber appeared in a TMZ Live in the Studio bit. Bieber, though not as big as he is now, was an incongruous guest for a show that tended to feature low-level reality stars. The then-16-year-old explained away his appearance saying he decided to stop by after running into "my boy Harvey" at a sushi restaurant nearby.

Similar rumors about Bieber's TMZ appearance surfaced on the internet as early as 2012.

The final arrangement—the exact terms of which we don't know—came down to Harvey, Bieber, and manager Scooter Braun. "Usher, who was Justin's mentor, found out about it and was less than pleased, as you can imagine," the source said. (TMZ reported yesterday that upon learning about Bieber's use of slurs, Usher "took [Bieber] into a room and showed him historically racist videos to drive home how hurtful these words can be.")

A second video, of Bieber singing, "There'll be one less lonely nigger, if I kill you, I'll be part of the KKK," was published yesterday on TMZ, and the site reported that "various people" had "tried to extort him" over it:

Bieber and his team say various people have tried to extort him over the last few years — demanding money for both this video and the one he made when he was 15. Justin says he will not be shaken down anymore. He says he wants people to see the video and he wants to accept responsibility.

According to TMZ, someone who worked on one of Bieber's video projects stole the footage and two...ll it back to Bieber's team for $1 million. The demand dropped down to $500,000 but the negotiations fell apart when Bieber's team decided the footage, now visibly dated, wasn't worth suppressing anymore.

Today, Page Six reports the existence of more videos—taken from the same stock of footage shot for Never Say Never—of Bieber cracking racist jokes and using slurs.

Know anything more about TMZ's deal with Bieber, or about Bieber's racist videos? Leave a tip below, or email us.

I believe it because the same day that the first tape was released, Harvey Levin said they had this tape for a few years and never aired it because they didn't want to ruin JB's career. Then, Harvey said that "someone" was trying to get a hold of the tapes for extortion purposes but this tape ended up with the British tabloid. Any idiot can figure out from what Levin said that actually HE was the one that leaked the tape to the Sun, so that the story could air on TMZ after the fact and pretend that THEY didn't leak the tapes. Also keep in mind that about two weeks ago, TMZ did a segment that pretty much shed a negative light on Bieber's friends via some so-called comments made by Bieber's manager. Levin basically threw Bieber's manager under the bus by suggesting that he was letting Bieber to be involved with questionable influences (i.e. black people).
