.. Stop Bitching About Timberlake ..

  • Music was never black people music or white folks music, in terms of doing it. It's not like you oughtta be black to be soulful, and you're not supposed to be white to do electronic music... Soul music is black in terms of its roots & origins, same goes for folk, or rock music, a genre that white people dominated first.
  • Thing is, you hate Justin Timberlake for doing R&B music.
  • Bla bla bla bla, stop saying that you do that because he has limited vocals or sounds whiny, you hate him because he is a white pop star previously manufactured but tries to hard to do R&B music.
  • Is there anything wrong with that?
  • I wanna be good at math, students before me were fucking geniuses, I try as much as possible to be as good as them... but then, I see people hating me for even trying.
  • What the actual fuck? this isn't what music is about?... Like, can you please stop for a while and look at how stupid & hateful you were just a minute ago?
  • Stop saying that he's a pop star... please stop and go listen to 20/20 Experience on Youtube. Music is what matters, image is just a thing. (Ain't that what most orgers here say?)
  • I know right? That shit was some good throwback R&B... what? Still hate him cuz he's white? Oh c'mon!!
  • His voice is limited? That's what God gave 'em... Poor Timberlake... plus, if his R&B singing was THAT bad, what am I seeing him getting praise from his fellow R&B singers (Who sound good & decent - In Org World) such as NE YO, Usher and such..? And why he's singing with Al Green... wait, Al Green is in like the top 5 soul singers of all time, tellin' me he was forced to sing with this whity wigger? No, he sang with him cuz he met with him backstage and thought "Well this guy is marvelous and knows hella lot about music!"
  • You know what... I'll tell you something, if you go back to 1972, and you see a guy with Justin's passion in a bar, 3 days later he'll fucking dethrone Marvin Gaye. Because, people back in the day believed in music no matter what the musicians looked like.. it was good, man. Now y'all just wanna hate.
  • Don't blame you, though. Robin Thicke has the same vocal capacity as Justin, and yet Robin is rarely hated here (or among black people).. cuz he ain't mainstream (Pre-Blurred Lines, and frankly... now also, where is he?). Same goes for Mayer Hawthorne whose voice can slightly hit anything upper registered during live shows....
  • Justin is mainstream -- Does pop music -- Suddenly, goes R&B -- orgers ain't happy.
  • Look at things the other way:
  • Usher is R&B, suddenly, goes EDM & Electronic with David Guetta and shit... Why orgers don't hate him for that? And why white orgers here don't even think about giving a single swinky fuck about the fact that he does a certain type of music? Will fucking I Am is electronic as shit, and has nothing to do with soul music, why nobody is bitching about THAT?
  • Cuz see, soul music is too much precious it can't be touched.... and EDM? fuck EDM, let 'em do EDM and don't let him get close to fucking soul music... Ain't that racist? Music is music, you do whatever you wanna do, it's what you signed for the very first day. It don't matter if Justin is white, or does R&B his way as long as it was good R&B! Some of y'all can't even admit how good 20/20 is or can't even imagine how crazy y'all get if your favorite artist (Say, Prince) releases something like Pusher Love Girl! Yeah fuckin right.
  • This is frankly the first time I heard this bullshit (Goes also from the fact that Lady Gaga was immediately bashed the moment she released that song with R Kelly), Amy Winehouse was the fucking soul diva in the whole world and her soulful music dethroned anything by female R&B artists at the time (She even had a jazz voice that nobody had), and she was white & british..... Christina Aguilera can outsing any black female artist today, any one... and she's white.
  • I'm just re stating my point: Music is just music, you don't care about WHO YOU ARE, it's your music that does all the magic. If one day Coldplay go R&B, or Jay Z & Kanye West team up for an art rock concept album, or fucking Bjork releases a funk record, you can't be surprised, the "Soul music is black music/Rock music is white music" era is fucking done, y'all, its 2014. Get the phuck over it.

Yeah, dislike is a good word, I dislike Prince because I think he's irrititating and his lyrics help providing ear cancer, just can't deny how brilliant he was long time ago.

Fair enough. It's all subjective in the end! I couldn't care less what kind of music Timberlake (or anyone else) is trying to make, really. It's about how it sounds to me. For the record, I really don't like Robin Thicke or Usher, either. lol

I personally don't give a damn about him nor his music. What I bitch about is people feeding his ego with the foolishness that he's the second coming of Michael Jackson, Prince and Madonna, all rolled into one, because he ain't! geek

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I agree, it's all subjective.. but when you see people DECIDING what music should belong to, and arguing about the fact that a dude should pick a lane, that's shameful, and damn racist.

"The next x" has always been a serious problem our generation stick to (Even the generations before)... I hate that Justin sticks too much to MJ, when you admire someone, you shouldn't meet him or stick to him so much, because he's the one you look up to, there should be a respect zone in between.. and the damages are clear (I.e. Chris Brown imitating MJ in everything, eventully lost his image & name and now seen as a MJ impersonator & imitator -- He shouldve never accepted BET & GRAMMY offers to do MJ with his costumes and shit, what's that? He was young anyway).

Lol, Kitty, I still think no matter what that JT is still talentless (At least compared to Bruno)... I'm just mad because he's hated for doing something he loves... It's not fair.

And for that, the record will be broken again as soon as Bruno releases anything, and that's not so important anyway as long as JT needed MJ to go top ten, while Bruno doesn't even need a music video (It's a thing). And charts, overall, are nothing........... to be proud of. :lol:They're just numbers.

"Black" artists are moving into more of a Pop sound, which used to be predominantly "white" and "White" artists are slowly being ushered into R&B and Rap, etc...

I see what's going on. History is repeating itself.

He sucks at RnB if he were black he would still suck. Let us live in the real world he gets a pass because he is white while white artist who do RnB really well never get the props they deserve. Teena Marie would be a great example. He is medicore at what he does and the mainstream music media and industry are behind him all the way. It is ridculous.

I am not even going to waste my time with your nosense about "Soul music is black music/Rock music is white music". The music industry makes it this way and the fact that you do not even know that much makes you lacking in knowledge on this subject.

If he sucked at rnb why is Timbaland not making better songs with anyone else?

if Timbaland worked with any RNB artists today he probably wouldn't get better results than with Timberlake

if he sucks at rnb why did thisisrnb.com rank his last album at number 2 for best rnb albums in 2013?

Exactly, no artist should have a privilege to make a certain type of music

over another because of their skin color. If the public responds to the music JT makes and enjoys it that's all that matters at the end of the day.

Because

"the mainstream music media and industry are behind him all the way"

Bruno Mars said that he was told that his songs were good "but we need to find a white boy to sing them. He was told this be a record company executive. Rascism exsist in the music industry and I do not think that Timberlake is a racist but he is getting a big push because of racism not because he is the most talented guy in music.

So if I've never found any songs I've heard of him the slightest bit appealing I have to keep it to myself?
