Boy George - Tense Nervous Headache I just got this in the mail after looking for an affordable copy for aaaages, and I have to say it was worth the wait! Way better than his first solo effort IMO, some real gems on here: . .
My favourite: . . Close second: . . Kind of sounds like he's trying to channel Barry White on here, but okay: . . I don't know why, but for some reason I just love this one:

I think this album was called High Hat in the US. I've never heard the Tense version, but High Hat has a few Teddy Riley songs in place of some of these songs. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |
