Aladdin Sane 30th anniversary edition :D will be released on April 14th and will be packaged in the same manner as the Ziggy Stardust reissue from last year. The best news is that it will also be a 2 disc set. Here's the tracklist:
Disc 1: 1. Watch That Man 2. Aladdin Sane 3. Drive-In Saturday 4. Panic In Detroit 5. Cracked Actor 6. Time 7. The Prettiest Star 8. Let's Spend The Night Together 9. The Jean Genie 10. Lady Grinning Soul Disc 2: 1. John, I'm Only Dancing (Aladdin Sane sessions) 2. The Jean Genie (original UK single mix) 3. Time (single edit) 4. Drive-In Saturday (single edit) 5. All The Young Dudes 6. A Lad In Vein (aka Zion) 7. Changes 8. The Supermen 9. Life On Mars? 10. My Death 11. John, I'm Only Dancing -tracks 7-11 live @ The Music Hall in Boston, 10/1/72 12. Drive-In Saturday (live @ The Music Hall in Cleveland, 11/25/72
I hope they do this with every Bowie album, every year. He never ceases to make the old stuff new and exciting again. I would love to hear his aborted '1984' soundtrack included w/ Diamond Dogs and 'The Man Who Fell To Earth' included with Station To Station. One can only dream...

Tron, I'm sorry but Bowie net has already said that A lad in vein will not be on the bonus disc! "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

I don't think this tracklisting is as strong as the Ziggy anniversary CD's was. However, I'm definitely looking forward to the remastered sound, etc. Ziggy's remastering blew me away. It would be great if they could do this with all of his albums, but I doubt they will. Are there any plans to remaster "anniversary style" anything other than Ziggy and Aladdin???
