"Feelin' Moody yeah, yeah" Anybody remember the girl group ESG and their hit, "Moody?" The instrumentation was very simple (they played their own instruments) but, the funky conga and bassline made you want to move your body. ![]() ![]()
(Talk about where are they now?)

Well, Well, Well!! You just never know where you're likely to find Garage Heads!! I was a member or should I say am a member of The Paradise Garage[The spirit is forever} Larry Levan is still the master of The Eternal Dance, the party where the music never stops. The last time I saw ESG was at the closing party for the Garage in 1987,when they performed the Garage classics "Moody" and "Standing In Line". They turned it out. They are still performing here and here and have release a few albums in the last few years including a compilation. I also remember hearing Prince's "If I Was Your Girlfriend" during the Garage's July 4, 1987 party. Prince definitely has that Garage vibe. After all he is the "Partyman"!! Steve Marshall
