Artists of which U have all albums?

Just curious... Of which bands/singers do you own every album they ever made? (And I don't count beginners who only have their debut album!)
For me it's really only Bob Dylan who last year released The Complete Album Collection.(That makes it easy.)

For everybody else, no matter how much I love the music, there's always one or two missing. So I'm wondering,,,how many completists do we have here?

Wow, that's pretty impressive. I don't even have everything by Prince because I was never an NPG club member and didn't bother getting 20Ten.

Not including the many hits compilations:

Basia (including the albums she did with Matt Bianco)

Minnie Riperton

Jackson 5/Jacksons

Jermaine Jackson (don't have the new standards album. Think it's a download and I don't download, pay or free)

Michael Jackson (even Farewell My Summer Love, but not Michael that's said to have fake songs)

The Time/Original 7ven

Morris Day

Gap Band (even have the Leon Russell album in which they're the musicians)

En Vogue

Johnnie Taylor (don't have the SAR era material. But there were no albums, just a few singles. I think they're on a Sam Cooke box set though)

Tony! Toni! Toné!

Bell Biv DeVoe

El DeBarge

Sade

Swing Out Sister (except the live albums, but I have the remix albums)

Digable Planets

Wham! (including the remix album that was only released in Japan)

Deee-lite

Color Me Badd

Tears For Fears (the Roland & Curt ones, not the ones that were really Roland solo albums)

Lisa Stansfield

Shanice Wilson

Break Reform

Brownstone

George Michael

Sure is! And if you also like Zappa, JB and P-Funk, you're bound to overlook a few records.
Anywho, I see the name Deee-Lite come up a few times. I remember Groove Is In the Heart and I saw them live back then because Bootsy was in the band, but how many albums did they make?

The Who

Neil Young (but missing Americana which I didn't like much)

The Clash

Steely Dan

Led Zeppelin

Black Flag

Minutemen

Husker Du

Bikini Kill

Lots of bands that put out 1 or 2 albums only.

There are others with long careers where I have ALMOST everything, at least up to the point they started to suck, like the Beach Boys, or a comprehensive box set covering their best years, like Ornette Coleman.

I guess we're counting only studio albums and EPs, maybe even compilations with new material

in that case, only Roxy Music, but that doesn't count much since they "only" released 8 albums in 10 years (72-82), and I don't own all Bryan Ferry's solo albums...

it's been almost exactly one year since we last did this smile so I'll mainly copy & paste. I am just counting artists with five albums or more otherwise the list would explode. so that excludes for example most Prince associates, acts like Eric B & Rakim, Guy, Amy Winehouse, NWA, DeBarge, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, By All Means, Angela Winbush, X-Clan... ... and dozen others

Prince
The Time
Sheila E
Earth Wind & Fire (I think I'm also complete on Philip Bailey solo. oh, and Maurice White, hehe)
Public Enemy
Parliament (but not sure about Funkadelic and Clinton solo)
Bootsy Collins/Rubber Band/Zillatron...
Chic/Nile Rodgers/BernardEdwards
Anita Baker
Run DMC
Erykah Badu
Zapp / Roger
Steely Dan / Donald Fagen Solo
Chaka Khan solo (plus all except one Rufus album)
Janet Jackson
Jamiroquai
Brand New Heavies
George Michael /Wham
Soul II Soul
Loose Ends
Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince (even Will Smith solo, but I would never admit that in 100 years. wait.... Duh!)
Jacksons (not Jackson 5 though)
Ice Cube

SOS Band
Babyface

Bill Withers

Full Force
...???

and in the special category "regular studio albums excluding Christmas albums" smile
Stevie Wonder/Eivets Rednow
BobbyWomack

btw, I am just counting physical albums/CDs
download-only-releases (by Prince or whoever else) well.. in a word, fuck'em! flipped off

concerning the Beatles, sure I have all the official British albums but hardly any US edition or stuff like Live at BBC, so i don't think I can count them

for Mika I'm complete too, but he's also bubbbing under the five album threshold
