I was surprised to hear he just released an album (Journals) asI've not heard one single or anything about it. Not that I'mabig fan or anything Just wondering why things are so quiet with him. I thought when he releases albums, the interweb goes nuts.

Anyone heard the album?? Is itany good?? I know there are closet Beiber fans here on the Org. Come out and give me a review.

Dude's career is a mess, neighbor-egging, black-acting and shit like that, I cannot believe that he yet calls himself and artist and that people should respect him.

I heard his R Kelly collab and it was meh, JB's team could provide him a nice R&B sound but his voice just sucks and is completely unbearable for my ears.

I was the same way about his new cd - it seemed

to be released without much publicity. I listened to

parts of a few of the songs and they sounded very

generic. I'm curious how well it has sold.

See, that's what I mean. It came out very quietly. For a teen sensation like him, it's seems odd. I don't think it's selling well. Is this the end for the Beibs??

It is mostly a compilation of previously released singles, and I heard it was released only through iTunes, and for a limited time only, which is probably why it wasn't promoted as heavily.

I knew Justin's career was in for a backlash the moment I notice a picture in the tabloids of Justin dressing almost like Vanilla Ice circa 1991.

He might be able to eek out a few more hits with an image overhaul, but he doesn't seem to be on that path at his point. When he first started, I could see the appeal for young girls, and he did seem like he had potential to be something more than a teen sensation. And then he just devolved into the mess he is now. The dancing is tired, the vocals are appalling, and his antics and general image are an embarrassment.

Looks like he may be going the way of David Cassidy. He couldn't handle the crazy ass psycho fans and teenibopper image either, and it broke him in the end. Cassidy did come back in the 80's (albeit on a small scale), and after his first career implodes, Justin could do a "2nd career" thing in a number of years too. I much prefer Cassidy's voice to Bieber's though LOL.

I actually still like his first song "One time". Nice song. Havn't heard many of the other tracks off that album though, as some of it is predictibly awful but thats to be expected.

That skit was mad funny. She did a great job as him. Had his mannerisms down pat.

he's doing just fine - although it seems like a few of you want to see him fail

the lastest drag race thing will only bring him more fans because controversy sells

white/black has nothing to do with anything - kinda sad in this day and age people bring that up

he will probably just turn into the next Justin Timberlake or something continuing to make cheesy R&B music

I know, weird timing right?? I have a feeling he'll be around for many years to come. As far as him getting in trouble with the law and going to jail, this is probably perfect for him. I know he fancies a "harder" image, so this should suit him just fine. He's earning his street cred now, then in a few years he'll be sqeaky clean again and everyone will eat it up and forget about his bad boy past.
