Any 60s/70s soul group recommendations?

Can anyone recommend any 60's/70s soul groups who aren't very well known but made great music?. I like Enchantment, J5/Jacksons, Blue Magic, The Montclairs, Delfonics, Stylistics, Chi-Lites, Temps, Four Tops, The Sylvers, Bobby Taylor & The Vancouvers, Smokey & The Miracles, The Impressions, O'Jays, Spinners, Commodores, The Moments (Ray, Goodman & Brown), The Whatnauts,EW&F, Isleys,Dramatics, Tavares, Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes, Smoke, The Independents amongst others, so is there any other more rarer groups worth checking out?, thanks.

Hardly anyone has heard of The Choice Four but I think they were very smooth..."Angel Don't Fly Away", "When You're Young and In Love" (they have a nice version of this known song.) They were produced by "The Hustle"'s Van McCoy.

Thanks for the recommendations. I like Black Ivory Choice 4 & the Originals. Should have mentioned them in my first post. Unifics are good too. There's another good group who do a great cover of Can't help falling in love with you but can't think of their name at the moment. Lead vocalist sounds like Eddie Kendricks.

I love me some Rotary Connection.

Everything about that song is bad ass. The harmony in the singing, the Piano, the guitar, the funky drumming intro, etc.

Black Gold is one of my favorite songs ever.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

^I forgot about the OP.

Although these guys only released a couple albums each, they were all pretty good.

Years after his death(1970) Baby Huey became somewhat popular so you might have already heard his music. Heck, i guess the same could be said about Darondo as well. He's still alive though.

Baby Huey, Hard Times.

Darondo, Listen To My Song

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

Mine, too!

I also like the original version Phil Upchurch did just two years earlier, on his 1969 solo album...Phil also plays guitar on the Rotary version....and you can kinda hear Minnie's wordless vocals in the background on Phil's version....

Check out the Persuasions, one of the most intense vocal harmonry groups ever. They did the original Thin Line Between Love & Hate later covered by Pretenders.

How about this group?

....

1967 (20 pop, 3 R&B)

....

1971 (23 pop,10 R&B)

....

These are their only 2 top-40 hits on the Hot 100, among 10 top-40 R&B hits.
