That is not the only type of songs he can write!!!! His last two albums were adult comtemporary albums "Write Me Back" & "Love Letter" albums. Even Aretha Franklin praised him on it. He says those albums never sell well for him.

Because that's not who he's appealing to. He's in his "marketing to young people mode" again. Young people download more records in his genre. This isn't the first time he's done this.

I was talking about the sex doesn't stop at 40 argument. They see themselves as sexsymbols at 50, but don't see other people that age as sexy.

If he's appealing to young people he should just quit, because having young models around you still makes you 50 and young people see that too.

It wasn't such a big hit anyway, but i doubt it was because of Kelly it had some success.

If Gaga would have released it alone, it would have made the same impact (maybe bigger?)

Yep! Although I really enjoyed his last two albums and never took him seriously as a singer until he started to take himself seriously with the last two projects, the numbers speak for themselves. Both albums stalled at #2 on the R&B Album Charts (while the all of his previous albums all peaked at #1). "Love Letter" was barely certified Gold while "Write Me Back" has yet to receive a certification. Most of his previous albums were certified Platinum. His core fans don't want to hear adult contemporary from him. They want to hear the smut-fest they are getting with "Black Panties". Rest assured, this will return him to the #1 spot and probably be another Platinum seller for him.

I took a listen at the samples to his current album and it sounds like the same old drudge all of the other R&B males singers are doing. No substance whatsoever. Not for me. I will be skipping this one. But, again, this is what the public wants to hear from him and if he wants to make money and stay relevant, these are the types of songs he has to record.

R. Kelly has reinvented himself yet again! I ain't mad @ him.. If Madonna can still parade around half naked and even naked, pushing 60 & having men around her young enough to be her grandchildren . R. Kelly can have young females around him also. He is doing what he has to do to sell records. Its called PROMOTION!!

I dont know ive kinda changed my mind about the video. I see a mix of age range..girls/women. I totally thought the chic who is escorting her to his room was Robin Givins? Till she spoke. And I hate to admit it but....r.kelly looks pretty fly. Maybe its cuz hes all covered up for most of the vid, so you cant really tell its him. But i love the shots of him with all that gear on!!! Hat gloves glasses and his suits...He looks pretty fresh. The video is pretty damn sexy! Just get past its R.Kelly. I love most of the mans music just not his presence.

I often wonder what kind of song R. Kelly would write once he hits the age of erectile dysfunction (60ish??). I think there would prbably be a lot of songs about Jesus and blue pills.
