I denied it for awhile... cause i have dubbed Usher ''Ushshit'' for years since he hasn't released anything decent since Confessions (Ok, More was kind of a jam)

Climax was not terrible overplayed, and i didn't pay much attention to it. But, damn this is a great r&b song. I mean... atmospheric r&b at it's fucking best. Where has this Usher been? why have you been doing songs that sound like Ashitty & Fluid Rida, when you had it in you to do Climax.

The song showed Usher and his producers to the best of their abilities. And it goes will with the new r&b instrumentals of a Frank Ocean, Miguel, Or Weekend track.

Naturally the next single ''Scream'' was shit. So maybe Climax will be.... urrrrrshers final climax as a decent artist. But damn if it's not a good one.

I wish he would have followed the direction of this song, but it wasn't a big success I think.

After Confessions, i stopped listening to usher, but this song rocks.

I don't know much about his music. I remember "Uh" or "Yeah" or whatever it was from a few years ago.

But I saw him acting as a guest mentor on "American Idol" a few years back. Let me tell you, that guy knows what he is doing when it comes to performing.

All the advice he gave the contestants was spot-on and excellent. I was very impressed with his knowledge of showmanship and performance.

It was! The album might have done better if "Climax" wasn't released months and months previously on iTunes.

He has the potential to reach "Confessions" heights again. But he is a divorced father of two. That might've chipped away at his idol factor.

the song got props and made a lot of year end best of lists when it was out. ppl in general didn't seem to like him as a husband. i don't have any of his albums but it seemed like the public didn't want a more mature soundscape from him

The song went to number 17, and i heard it here and there. But, it wasn't a huge hit sadly. I would have MUCH rather this song be overplayed than OMG, or Scream

But unlike shit like Love In This Club or Scream (When are the last time you even heard those 2?) Climax has the potential to be a classic Usher track.

I Agree with Rodeo... Usher knows his shit about entertaining. But, he also is afraid of being left behind. So... he makes relevat pop tracks and since 2007 they have been shit.

But... no denying he has made some r&b classics

i'm a Timbaland fan so in the pass i've given Timberfake a pass. not feelin' him right now though and from the few tracks i've heard from 20/20, Tim's on auto pilot. so no, Usher is who JT wishes he was as it relates to authenticity. who produced Climax? he needs to tell them and other producers (like Jam and Lewis who did some of his classic slow jams) that he likes "gettin' his grown man on" and he wants more stuff like that.

Climax was produced by Diplo, of Major Lazer fame. Thats why it has a passable sound to it, this dude is talented.

Climax is a good song but I care for you, off the same album is even better. That song gives me chills.

I didn't listen to the regular track much, but the remix was on my playlist for like 2 months.. definitely top notch.

Well, Usher has yet to follow-up that 2012 album, so maybe we WILL see more from him and Diplo? It could work. Usher was trying to do that techno sound before that, and Diplo is no stranger to that either. Better fit than Jermaine Dupri these days.

I was never an Usher fan before that last album. I know a lot of people slammed the album for being too pop and dance but I really likedit. I hope his next album is a continuation of that.

The vocals are impressive, he's shown what a great singer he can be. The production is perfect, very climatic. It was one of the best songs of 2012, and I'm not a fan of his, I mean, I dont know a lot of his songs, and his late electronic-club songs did nothing for me.
