R. Kelly's upcoming 12th studio album, Black Panties, has been pushed back.

It will now arrive on December 10th on RCA Records. As previously reported, the album was due November 11th but last minute tweaks in the mastering process has led to the new date, a representative for the singer confirmed.


While the tracklist has yet to be confirmed, Kelly released the first single "My Story" this past summer, an autobiographical, rags-to-riches song that features 2 Chainz.

He's also confirmed to appear on Lady Gaga's new album ARTPOP on a track called "Do What U Want." The pop star tweeted earlier this week that "he sounds incredible."

Even though this album will probably be shit... judging by the track names and the 2 singles rolleyes

My Story and Genius didn't even get love on the top 40 on the r&B chart! and that is kells home.

Since the GaGa song is in the top 20 it would be a good time to release a single. He has a chance of possible getting at least one more solo top 40 hit in if he plays his cards right.
