You would be "bored" hearing the classic songs that made her who she is? Some of these songs (like "Angel") hasn't been performed in decades...wouldn't it be nice to finally hear these songs at a Madonna concert? Don't get me wrong,I like the fact that her concerts focus on new material. That's actually a bold thing to do.Many other veteran artists (even Prince) could never get away with charging fans $300 to hear mostly new songs at a show.I just feel like, she's done this for a long time now (from Drowned World to MDNA).It's time to finally do a greatest hits tour. And it doesn't have to be a predictable, run of the mill greatest hits show. This is Madonna we're talking about it (lol)..she would find a way to make it interesting and exciting...bringing new life to those old songs.

But the thing is different people became fans at different times because she's had big hits in every decade. Your list is very heavy on her 80's music. Maybe for you that's what made her, but for me personally I only became a huge fan with the release of LAP. I don't like her early 80's music as much. My favorite albums are LAP, ROL, Music and Confessions. I'd want to hear more stuff from those albums. There are lots of people who only really got into her with the release of Ray of Light. As I said I don't mind if she does a show without a new album, but I don't want it to focus literally on just Top 10 chart hits. I'd want her to balance the music from all decades and throw in a few fan favorites which weren't necessarily the biggest chart hits but are iconic to fans such as Bad Girl. Madonna is different from a lot of other artists from the 80's like Duran Duran or someone (even though I love them) because she has three decades of hits and different fans became fans at very different times. There's no one decade that made her. She's made her iconic status by always doing new things.

Still can't get over how much I paid for this show. I was not crazy about the MDNA album as a whole but she brought some of it to life onstage, the effects were great. Having said that, I don't see myself going to another tour again after being a fan for almost 30 years, I sort of feel over her and realize the albums I like best are because of Nile Rodgers, Stuart price, timbaland and neptunes though mirwais and pat Leonard are also great. I'm sure she'll do well with Giorgio on her next album, he's not getting any younger and if he recreates the Donna summer magic touch after hearing the I feel love sample in future lovers, it could work

People complain about the price, but all those "effects" you love cost money. There are hundreds of people working on her shows and they don't work for free. They all need to be paid too. So it's not like all the money goes to her. She could make her shows cheaper but she couldn't do the same type of show if she cut prices. I think the Giorgio Moroder thing is just a fan rumor. It hasn't been confirmed at all. I can't see her working with him. He has kind of an 80's dated sound and she's not into that. On the chat she did, she mentioned Daft Punk and Frank Ocean as people she liked. Everyone always says they're "over" her, but they always come back!

The show starts with a marriage ceremony and the man is equated with God (the religious chanting is about that). Madonna arrives in a confessional because the woman is the original sinner. "Gang Bang", "Papa Don't Preach" and "Hung Up" represent breaking free from her husband and also from the norms created by the society. "I Don't Give A" is finalizing her divorce, also set in a church, which is blasphemous. Unfortunately the rest of the show is way too uninspired to me compared to the first segment with so many recycles and rehashes. "Open Your Heart" is a nice performance and the new "Candy Shop" arrangement is awesome but everything else is a letdown, revisits of the Girlie Show, Drowned World Tour and Re-Invention Tour mainly with no concept at all... I really hope the next tour will be better than this and she stops repeating herself. I cannot believe she chose to do the familiar arrangements of "Vogue", "Human Nature" and "Like A Prayer" after bending over backwards on the previous tour to give a new arrangement to practically all the old songs! I never thought that I would say this...but I hope her next tour is a greatest hits show.I know she always likes to move ahead and focus on the NEW music, but I think it's time for her to finally revisit her past with a stunning trip down memory lane.I wanna hear stuff like "Angel","Causing A Commotion","Dress You Up","Live To Tell","Deeper And Deeper","Cherish",etc. She has neglected many of these songs for too many years now.Would be cool to see a Madonna show that finally focuses completely on the past. homeskillet - she will NEVER do "angel"!!! I love it too - but i can't imagine she'll ever pull that one out. Same for "Causing a Commotion" if MDNA tour had a flaw, it was that all the 'old' songs had to be "Like A Prayer" "Like A Virgin" or "Open Your Heart" level of popularity - for once, there was no random "Lament" "Paradise" or any really out there album cuts from previous albums to surprise ("Candy Shop" doesn't count, it was the opening track of her very last record and mixed with the very well known "Erotica")She's becoming very into the HALLMARK songs of 1989-1994, it seems. the earlier funky shit gets ignored. I want to hear "burning up" "rain" and "deeper and deeper" again - shit, i would LOVE to hear "Shoo be doo" (I know im in the minority there), "Everyboday" (BITCH PLEASE SING IT), "Spotlight" (yeah right), "Keep It Together" "Til Death Do Us Part," "Waiting," "Inside of Me," "Sanctuary," "I'd Rather Be Your Lover" "Sooner or Later" "Back in Business" "Supernatural" ...shit aint gonna happen sad sad
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

Great show...but only one disappointment. Did Madge change the end of "Masterpiece" during the tour? I was really looking forward to seeing the end of this song again as when I saw the show in Hyde Park and Birmingham the Kalakan singers sang a beautiful outro with some amazing visuals. But on the dvd its just Madonna singing the outro... confused
