I like the beat of Ghosts, but I think the vocal arrangents and drums are doper in Is It Scary...more scary and cooler!

Is It Scary

Is It Scary, i like the monumental feeling it has. Over the top, rather dark, very 'big'. It's a side of Michael most don't appreciate, but i love it.

Is It Scary all the way. Cool track.

I find Ghosts somewhat subpar as far as MJ music goes.

Well, um..."Ghosts" gets on my nerves cuz the beat is like whoa. It's like, sorta annoying. But I totally am hardcore for the song other than that!

"Is It Scary" is my extreme favorite! Ohmigod! It's like, the kewlest song, but I can't really understand the lyrics, but I really like, couldn't understand the movie "Ghosts"! But I also don't understand a lot of things!! *giggles* But I SO do understand songs about becoming a woman and teasing boys! Duh!

i remember 'ghosts' was the only song on BOTDF i hadn't heard before its release. the rest was already played on the radio. i remember i was blown away by it the first time i heard it. i kind of prefer this song to 'is it scary' just for that reason. only i think that, like most of mike's uptempo tracks, it goes on for too long. it should've been a minute shorter. 'is it scary' is a great tune, especially with mike's beatbox in the background. great dramatic chorus too. only the bridge always bothers me. it doesn't fit the song imo. it did feel like some of the new songs sounded a bit dated and unfinished. the title song, 'ghosts' and 'is it scary' were 'dangerous' outtakes, right? i love the breakdown in 'morphine'. mike and a piano. and 'superfly sister' gave me that 'off the wall' vibe. i don't really listen to the album anymore though. there's too much crap on it..

I prefer the remix version of Ghosts with the slow tempo.

Is it scary by far.that song picks you up and throws you around the room if you got a good system.(i like Mousse T's club remix of Ghosts more than the original mix too)

Is it Scary was originally intended for one of the Addams family movies i seem to remember.

I bought a Michael Jackson fan magazine back then and they interviewed him somewhere in Europe.
He said that it was Sony's idea to release the remixes and that he wasn't sure if the kids like them.

I like the remix of "Scream", besides that it's mostly crap, though (the remixes).
