yikes, they were awful

I like their music but they are really nothing more than a concept created by someone else. T-Boz looked more like a T-Rex. Wow she is huge!! I felt kind of bad for them. Here is a review and a link to the performance http://www.washingtonpost...irl-group/

Very mean and insensitive for you to say that! T-Boz has had it rough health wise with sickle cell anemia and going through a brain tumor operation of all things! She is blessed to even still be alive. But you could careless huh!?

Why don't they sing live? Their songs don't have any huge notes in them and T-Boz really can't dance the way she used to. Chilli is still on point with her moves though.

It seems like they're trying to gauge how the fans take to Lil Mama replacing Left Eye. People have NOT received her positively I thought she did well in the movie but she doesn't have the same stage presence as Left Eye when performing.

She doesn't have the same stage presence as Left Eye but Lil Mama definitely has her own strong stage presence going on. Its exciting that she is performing with TLC. Hope it works out.

2) Should artists let fans dictate their creative decisions? Prince doesn't seem to care what the fans think of his decisions and he has always had a very loyal fan base even though they complain a lot.

3) How do these TLC fans (who always say "you cant replace lisa and its just not the same without lisa) expect T-Boz and Chilli to make a living? I suspect the TLC movie and their comeback plans might have a lot to do with current money concerns.

it sounds cold and harsh to "replace" a member who dies,but it happens all the time.I just wonder how their fans would have reacted.

Lil Mama perforimg with them more is starting to piss me off. It's not the same with two members, but at this point I would prefer T-Boz and Chilli try the duo thing and leave Lil Mama home.

I totally agree that TLC doesn't work with two members. Their performance at the AMA's with Lil Mama was kinda rough but I liked it. I think its too early to tell whether or not they should ditch her. Maybe they'll get better.

Left Eye was good, but it is so easy to perform their singles without her. I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, but I'd just rather not see Left Eye replaced either.

Yes. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings either. The Lil Mama thing seems like a sensitive issue amongst TLC's bigger fans. Maybe it will be easier to perform their hit singles if T-Boz and Chilli learn how to rap. haha. I just think its funny that TLC seem like they are afraid of their fans reaction to the possibility of officially replacing Left Eye. The die hards would certainly complain but their casual fans (like me) and the new young fans they have gained as a result of the TLC movie are not going to care.

Left Eye was truly amazing but I think they could have replaced her with ANYBODY and gotten a better reaction then they got when TLC released their 3D album after Lisa passed. That whole thing was just WEIRD. I noticed that they skipped over that part of their past in the TLC movie. Several songs on that album are good tho.

TLC is one of those groups that need you all of the original members for it to work. It's not like with other groups you get some random backup singers and throw one in the front.. like another girl group I won't mention It's nice to see them back, but they need to try to reinvent themelves as a duo imo. And yall know Lil Mama in this group is a hot mess i'm sorry

I'm definitely in the "it isn't TLC without Left Eye" camp. The beauty of the group was the synergy of their contrasting styles. That being said, I've always thought Left Eye was the most indispensible. Even when she didn't have a rap, she was always a huge part of the TLC's style, vibe, and identity.
