This is important for some of the people who are intrested in Grammys, since we lost faith in Billboard/AMAs/VMAs long ago, this award is the only thing that left from "good music" era.

The nominations will be announced December, 6.

First these are NOT nominations they are submissions and submissions are EVERYTHING, anything pretty much can be submitted by your record company, means nothing, industry votes it down to a few which is why you see the same limited nominations

That Pre-whatever-List is not EVEN half the categories the GRAMMYS will be handing out awards for...And trust me when I tell you the album Blurred Lines will end up with about 8 Nods when the final voting is done. The single itself is listed as "Disco, R&B & Pop"...He'll have crossover nominations..12-weeks @ #1 in The States with 5-Million copies sold domestically.
