I'm a little late to the party, but I've been listening to their debut album The Bones of What You Believe A LOT lately.

Moi! I posted the Mother We Share up on here last year, but it clearly hadn't gained any traction. I saw them twice last year and three times this year. Great band with great taste, they have been doing I would die 4 U as an encore this year.

I love the song "Lies" in particular. I especially swoon when Lauren Mayberry sings the line, "you've got to show me, both knees, skin and BONE".

I only heard that song after I got the album. I didn't know they were currently covering it live (or much in general about them previously since the album was an impulse buy). Kismet!

They have retired covering I would die 4 U now. Did the last performance at first avenue. Here is a great performance of The Mother We Share from this time last year. You can see me in the audience!!

This was actually filmed in London. I think its just hosted by a Scotland Fan. I live in Cambridge now so I have my tickets for their first visit here in March.

I picked up their album a while back based off the strength of a snip of The Mother We Share, I heard.. While I'm liking the album for the most part, I wish the singer had a different voice. Maybe slightly deeper or something, but I like their songs.

I like The Mother We Share. There's a nice vibe to what they do. The singer's only adequate, but that song is quite strong. Liked that Prince cover too.

Agreed - they're cute enough songs but something a bit too fluffy in the sound for me personally.

Contrary to what others on this thread think, I find that the vocals actually elevate some of the songs to something greater than they normally would be. When the guy sings is when I get bored.
