He did the same thing with the Hiatus Kayote song Nakamarra. There was a thread about that song here and a day or two later he tweets the link to the video.

I just repeated it about 5 times in a row, it is a beautiful song. One of the best tracks to come out this year.

Awesome! I can clearly remember the first time I saw Caught Out There on MTV (1999) as a child and since then I've been captivated by her. She was unlike anyone I had seen at the time and I felt I could relate to the image even tho I didn't understand the concept behind the song at the time.

The ending turns what was a decent track into a great one.

I read on some website that she said that BGAM is an old song she wrote and is not on her new album but some lousy DJ decided to release it without her knowledge or permission:

Kelis replied to a fan on instagram and slammed “Been Given a Morning.” She says it’s an old leak, and not a new single like The YBF (Young, Black, & Famous website) and many other blogs reported it was.

She wrote: “given a morning” is nothing. It’s a song I wrote with nothing in mind about 5 years ago n now some thirsty producer has put it out without my consent or my knowing. Has nothing to do with my album or anything else. I wrote it for fun years ago. I never thought it would see the light of day cause it wasn’t supposed to.”

Enh, maybe when a song gets a positive reaction, she should re-consider its value.
