Toni Braxton and Babyface have revealed the single cover for their lead offering, "Hurt You," lifted from their upcoming joint album titled Love, Marriage, Divorce.

While the premiere date for their first single is unknown, Toni recently posted pictures of herself in the studio with Babyface working on the new project, which is scheduled to be released next month through Motown.

The upcoming effort marks a reunion for the two artists, who, alongside L.A. Reid, wrote and produced much of Toni’s classic self-titled debut album in 1993.

He may not be "Mr.Hitmaker" anymore but I'd rather hear Toni's voice on tracks that he produces,as opposed to the trendy producers who are hot right now.

I have high hopes for this album because Face is still an ace songwriter. It won't bother me if sales don't meet industry expectations.

nod I'm definitely going to check it out. Face outdid himself on Toni's debut album that I still rock this very day.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Which song exactly? I believe in the past decade he only wrote album tracks for the likes of Janet, Whitney and Toni herself.

He wrote for her 2001 Christmas album and her album, "More Than A Woman", that came out shortly after.

He co-wrote his single "There She Goes," which made the R&B Top 10 and the Hot 100 Top 40. Clearly it shows the power of the Neptunes (the other co-writers), because it's never impressed me much at all.

Thanks. For a hit written by him for another artist I guess we have to go back a year earlier for "Most Girls" by Pink...

I won't front. I loved that song and album. It was a departure from the bland album The Day. It seems like Babyface just wanted to do a fun album and that's what i took from it.

Her dance with the trendy producers have long dried up.
Freeway was probably the worst song she ever done.

I'm not a big fan of The Day either. OTOH, I never even bought Face2Face. The only song I've enjoyed from face this millennium is "The Loneliness."

I agree...The Day was a very bland album.

I think his problem started, as soon as people like the Neptunes and other producers, like them came on the scene. It kinda made him get out of what he was used to doing, in order to keep up with what these, "young cats", were doing. Once he started thinking in that way, it caused him to change his sound, and that was all she wrote...smh

2009. I didn't know that because I don't follow Charlie's non-Gap Band work.

2009. Charlie Wilson was nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his recording of the song.
