Awful, and I am fan of Babyface/Toni....sounds like "Diamonds" by Ms.Fenty. Sounds like Babyface is conforming to the awful bland style of the last decade.....

R&B icons Toni Braxton and Babyface return to the Adult R&B airplay chart with "Hurt You," which opens at No. 17.

The first single from their forthcoming duets album marks their 23rd and 21st appearances, respectively, dating to the chart's 1993 inception.

The bow of "Hurt" is the year's second-best on Adult R&B. So far in 2013, only Jaheim's "Age Ain't a Factor" debuted higher, logging a No. 14 entry in May (on its way to a No. 2 peak). "Hurt" marks Babyface's best debut, eclipsing the No. 22 entrance of 1994's "Where Is My Love?" It's Braxton's second-highest arrival, following the No. 16-starting (and eventual 13-week No. 1) "You're Makin' Me High" in 1996.

It had been over three years since either artist last graced Adult R&B, with Braxton's 2010 hit "Hands Tied" peaking at No. 6 and Babyface's 2009 single "I Need a Love Song" reaching No. 16. In their careers, Braxton has tallied 14 Adult R&B top 10s, including six No. 1s, while Babyface has notched 13 and four, respectively.

The Babyface-produced "Hurt You" is the first single off his and Braxton's duets album "Love, Marriage & Divorce," slated for a Dec. 3 release on Motown/Island Def Jam. Braxton picked up her fourth No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums with 2010's "Pulse," while Babyface's last studio set was 2007's "Playlist" which debuted and peaked at No. 7 on the survey.

There's just no way that this project can fail. It's gonna make alot of noise on the R&B charts thumbs up! It'll be a successful comeback for both of them.

When was the last time Face wrote a hit?

He may not be "Mr.Hitmaker" anymore but I'd rather hear Toni's voice on tracks that he produces,as opposed to the trendy producers who are hot right now.

Exactly. Better that they try to grow along with their audience than make any attempt at trendy hitmaking. It always makes my butt itch when I see artists who refuse to grow up and spend all of their time releasing/performing music that's just talking loud and saying nothing.
