Fine China was the baddest song in the top 40 this year. Yep. I stand on that one.
Even when dude was doing shit like "Run It", I could see the spark in him. He had SOMETHING that the other performers around him didn't. He has that stage presence that you just can't be taught. Its not just his dancing. Even way back when, I was saying he needed better songs and better writers. A lot of good artists are a personal mess. If we start basing our tastes in music on an artist's personal life, we wouldn't have any good music to listen to.

I wonder why he deleted the tweet. Maybe someone from his camp finally got through his thick noggin. There was no need to tweet that anyway. If he is gonna continue to use twitter why not accentuate the positive. I honestly hope this dude learns some common sense but I'm just not sure if he can. He is a train wreck waiting to happen. Chris Brown Slapped With Lawsuit Over Frank Ocean BrawlBy Tim Kenneally and Pamela Chelin LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.coom) - It appears that Chris Brown will have more legal trouble to contend with. An attorney for a cousin of singer Frank Ocean told TheWrap on Tuesday that he has filed suit against Brown, stemming from a January confrontation between Brown and Ocean over a parking spot outside of a West Hollywood recording studio. In the suit, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, Ocean's cousin Sha'keir M. Duarte alleges that an employee of Brown's - identified as "Hood" in the complaint, in which he's also named as a defendant - punched and kicked him, while Brown egged the employee on. According to the complaint, Ocean and Duarte arrived at Westlake Recording Studios to find a Lamborghini was parked in a spot reserved for Ocean. The suit goes on to allege that, when Brown, Hood and two other individuals emerged from the studio, Ocean asked about the spot and the foursome "moved forward in a menacing manner." After which, the suit claims, Hood "lunged and struck plaintiff with a punch to his face" as Brown yelled, "Get that N---er!" Hood then "commenced to beat and kick about the head as he lay on the ground," the suit claims, resulting in "at least 12 kicks about his body." The suit goes on to claim that Brown told Duarte, "You just got your ass beat and its all on camera" after the alleged beating. According to the complaint, the incident caused Duarte to suffer "great mental, physical, and nervous pain and suffering.. Plaintiff is informed and believes and thereon alleges that these injuries will result in some permanent disability to him." Alleging battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and conspiracy to commit battery, the complaint will seek unspecified general and punitive damages, as well as court costs and attorney's fees. uters – Tue, Aug 13, 2013 7:33 PM EDT

Chris Brown Hit-and-Run Case DismissedSinger nets legal victory in May car accident.
Less than a week after a huge health scare, Chris Brown officially has something to smile about. The singer— who suffered a seizure that his rep says was brought on by "unfounded legal matters" and "nonstop negativity" — scored a victory in court today when a judge dismissed his hit-and-run case, according to TMZ. Brown was accused of fleeing the scene of a car accident in May. The woman involved wanted the case dismissed given the minor damage to her vehicle, but prosecutors argued that the Virginia native be punished for violating the terms of his five-year probation. According to the L.A. City attorney, Brown verbally attacked the woman and refused to produce a driver's license or insurance information. He was booked on a hit-and-run in July and released from custody within an hour. From the start, Brown vehemently denied wrongdoing. Attorney Mark Geragos believes his client was targeted because of his celebrity. "The case never should have been filed in the first place," Geragos told TMZ. "It's unfortunate he was being prosecuted for who he is rather than what he's done." Responding to the win this afternoon, Brown tweeted, "!!!!!!! Thank GOD!"

Chris Brown Sentenced To 1,000 Hours Of Community ServiceOn August 16, a judge reinstated Chris’ probation and sentenced him to perform 1,000 more hours of community labor.Chris Brown is facing 1,000 more hours of community service after the Los Angeles County District Attorney accused him of fibbing about his records. Read on for more details.
Chris Brown Sentenced To 1,000 More Community Service Hours — Do-OverThe D.A. believes Chris, 24, lied in his community service reports, thereby violating his probation in the Rihanna assault case. The D.A. claims that Chris even swore he was picking up trash in his home state of Virginia, when in reality he was traveling to Cancun on his private jet, according to TMZ. The judge revoked Chris’ probation in June after the singer got slapped with hit-and-run charges, whic... dismissed on August 15. Chris’ probation was reinstated on August 16 — but only on the condition that he log 1,000 more service hours. Chris, who won’t get any credit for the hours he completed since his conviction in 2009, appeared upset after hearing the judge’s ruling. Last time the judge said Chris could do his hours in Virginia, but now his community service will be supervised by L.A. County officials. Chris has been given the option of doing highway or beach cleanup, probation alternative work services, or grafitti removal. He must also report to a probation officer within the next 48 hours. Chris Brown’s Hit & Run Case DismissedAt least Chris got some good news when his hit and run case was dismissed by the judge on August 15. The L.A. City Attorney seemed out to get Chris, but thankfully, the victim in the accident decided not to press charges. Although the prosecutors really felt Chris was wrong to leave the scene without exchanging proper information on the day of his hit and run in May 2013, it appears the judge didn’t see it that way. In case you forgot, Chris was caught driving without insurance or a drivers license when he had a minor fender bender with a woman. Also in the car was his girlfriend Karrueche Tran. “I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run,” Chris tweeted on July 22, “I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C’mon!!” Chris’ attorney Mark Geragos spoke out after the case was dismissed this: “The case never should have been filed in the first place. It’s unfortunate he was being prosecuted for who he is rather than what he’s done.” Chris was officially booked for the hit and run charge on August 5, but he actually turned himself in a day early so he could avoid being photographed. Chris arrived at the Van Nuys jail at 2:40 p.m., was booked two minutes later and then released at 3:22 p.m. with no bail. Even though Chris has a lot of community service ahead of him, we’re sure he’s happy to have a clean slate. Chris’ probation will officially end in August 2014, so he only has one more year to go.
do YOU think Chris deserves his new sentence?
