I'll be surprised if this catches fire but you never know. OutKast's "Hey Ya" had a throwback feel to it but it still managed to find a huge audience. I guess we'll see. I really wish her heaven though.

I love this one. Q.U.E.E.N. wasn't that bad either. Looking forward to the new jawn and Princey playing triangle for 2 seconds on a track.

it's a different genre...a easier song for the summer and not that matters very much but I saw the teaser for the video and it seems she has her hair down again..

I don´t really get Janelle Monae. Her look, her sound, her whole attitude....not that I´m hating ... ....but I really don´t understand what makes her so popular. To each his own I guess.

This song leaves me cold...just like all her songs I´ve heard so far.

I hope her collaboration with Erykah Badu won´t influence Erykah´s overall sound and lyrics too much.

I´ve really, really tried to like Janelle...but I just can´t.

Fun song, but nothing I must return to.

The more I hear of Janelle, the more I think she's about 30 years beyond the point at which she would have been a huge phenomenon. She churns out decent work, but it's work that would have been most appreciated, given her look and charisma, wrapped in the novelty of video.

imo with this song she finally proved she can makes a song for the masses if she wants ..I remember when the archandroid came out various people here doubted about this saying her songs didn't have clear hooks...etc( imo cold war already had a great hook)..

I'm a Janelle Monae fan but I'm not feeling this song at all! I started thinking of that calypso group that came out with that song making fun of how artists sound in dancehall music: 'Ragga ragga ragga ragga ragga ragga ragga ragga. About midsection thats how this song sounds. I tried twice to finish listening but I couldnt.

Cmon Janelle, you can sang gurl!!!!! Get better producers! You can do better than this!
