I very disappointed (though I don't know why I'm so surprised) about ther blatant lypsincing during this show.

No no no no NOOO! K-pop must die! mad It makes no damn sense. Fabricated nonsense, it is.

That being said, this song is the jam... even though I think they're singing about green beans...

Also a jam, but I don't like any of their other songs. And they're still fabricated pop nonsense of the highest order. These groups are put together by managers and record labels, groomed to be pop stars. They're like Disney kids, and the boy bands of the late 90s, only a hundred times more fake.

I think the only way to enjoy K-Pop is to TOTALLY surrender to it. It's like enjoying the rediculousness and over-the-top everything about "Moulin Rouge". You have to accept it for the world that it inhabits otherwise you're constantly fighting against it with logic.

With K-pop I look at it as them taking the boy-band asthetic and glossing it up times 10! I mean who but Koreans would dream up putting 10 marginal girls in one group? But I do agree with you about 2NE1. That's the only song of theirs that grabbed me. But I could LOOK at these all day. Again the asthetic of K-Pop:

OMG did somebody say Girls Generation??! ^_^ >_< ^.~............. finger lol
I've always hated K-pop or at least what's known as K-pop in the states lol Not only do they all sound the same but they all look the same too. It's so beyond tiring although there are a few good workout jams I like. What's SNSDs appeal? (at least Rain and Boa can dance) I honestly don't understand how these Pussycat Dolls wannabes could be famous even in the states. To me it seems 90% of their audience is Asian Americans who just like them for the way they look though. It's either that or Psy *sigh* Ugh and then there was this article I read about Teddy Riley & Swizz Beatz wanting to work with these mainstream manufactured Korean artists. =<
But anyways thanks to my friends I discovered some amazing Korean music and now there are few Korean artists that I actually like. Can't wait to visit Seoul later this year! I wish more Americans would realize there's way more than just Gangnam style to Korean music lol

Oh for sure much worse! The entertainment industry in Asia in general is kind of fucked up imo. The record label or the "managers" get to make all the money while these girls live in some kind of dorm all together. They're in their 20's and are forced to look younger than they are all the time AND aren't allowed to have a boyfriend wtf! And they'll probably be forced to retire when they're around 27 confused
