Keyboardist /singer/songwriter Dexter Wansel was a driving force at Philidelphia International during the 70's and 80's--- playing, writing and producing songs for Phylis Hyman, Patti Labelle, MFSB, The Jones Girls, The Jacksons, Teddy Pendergrass, Grover Washington, Jr., Lou Rawls, and others, as well as Dexter's own solo albums....this set features a handful of his great tunes....

Dexter's work is so underrated. I often wondered why he was never penned a super producer. His body of work stays in heavy rotation in my iPod. music

Definitely!! That's the first Dexter stuff I ever heard, as a kid...The Life On Mars album was a staple on local Jazz and R&B stations, in DC, particularly WHUR...

Funny you say that because his son is headed in the trajectory of being a super producer. he goes by Pop Wansel and I think he and his partner Oak will be big once they get a huge crossover mainstream hit since they're already dominating the R&B world.
