The Tabu Reissues - What Do You Think?

Anyone here ordering any of the recent Tabu reissues? I've been hearing nothing but complaints about a lot of the bonus material being vinyl rips. So far, I have Alexander O'Neal self-titled, The SOS Band "III", Cherrelle's "Fragile" and I'm expecting her "High Priority" within the next couple of days. Yeah, I can tell some of the material was vinyl rips but I don't think it's as bad as many people are making them out to be. They aren't nearly as bad as those vinyl rips Universal Music released in Japan a few years ago.

Anyone else here have any of the reissues? If so, what do you think about them?

The Liner notes are OUTSTANDING!!! cool A. Scott Galloway gives a great in-depth view of the albums, from new interviews with the artist, musicians and producers.

The bonus tracks (extended mixes, etc) are great to have on one collection.

I don't hear any thing that sound like a vinyl rip. I wasn't impressed with the sound quality overall, but the packging makes up for it! I would recommend them if you're a fan.

I haven't placed an order yet, but I will at some point, just for the bonus remixes and liner notes.

They both sounded fine to me. But, I was listening to them in my car so maybe that's why I really didn't notice some of the bonus tracks were vinyl rips. I got Cherrelle's "High Priority" in the mail today. That one is a double CD. I look forward to listening to it next week.music

I'm definitely gonna buy the Cherrelle, Alexander Oneal and brainstorm stuff and maybe General Cain's as well. I'm gonna be like a crack head in a crack house... I'm spending all my money.

I mainly want ON THE RISE & SANDS OF TIME from the SOS BAND.
