A great illustration of why there has never been, and will never be, an oldies rap tour.

Looks more like devolution to me. ICE T with that horrid Coco bimbo. Snoop Dog? That's too easy. I'll give ICE CUBE a pass, even though he's done some shitty "family" movies, because those "Are We There Yet?" movies is that only thing that keeps Nia Long (my ultimate crush) working.

I *LOVE* O'Shea's high school pic! Pink button-down with the collar popped, and Soul Glo.

Can't knock any of these guys though, even though it is sarcastically supposed to be considered a devolution... they are on a totally different level.

Cube and even Ice-T a bit i can forgive.

Cube has always said he was well educated and wasn't into gang life but more of telling ''strories'' about it. And his first few albums are some of the best, darkest, most abrasive hip-hop records ever no matter what.

Ice-T was in gang life but from the many interviews he had was trying to be a better person and even though CoCo puffs is annoying as hell confused he seems to be doing some good.

Snoop... wants to be it all. He was in gang life once upon a time then he got big and was on MTV, Beavis & Butthead, The Martha Stewart Show etc.

He has been in kids movies and also had a reality show lol

And he changes his name claiming to be all about peace yet still is also a ''gangster''

Snoop needs to grow up and smell the doggy coffee he's not a gangster anymore and his music isn't being bought by anyone not even his baby momma.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

As with all great American success stories, the edge-cutters eventually blend into the scene.

Queen Latifah pitches Clairol and records jazz standards, Common does soda commercials, Nas is an ad pitchman for cognac, and Sean Carter brags about eating with Warren Buffett.

And they're still edgier than many of the industry creations that pass for "hardcore" MCs these days.

The one about Ice Cube is correct. But for Ice-T, there a picture of his Electro/Breakin' era that should fit between high school & Cop Killa era. Snoop Dogg's dance-pop pimp era (with The Pussycat Dolls & Katy Perry) and Snoop Lion era should be the last two pictures.

Wrong! Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, & Monie Love were already kickstarting oldies rap tour ideas. wink
