alot of these sites are in trouble though. Recently i have been hearing that certain sites that "leak cds" were now being given viruses purposely on these new release files so that people would get them too, and then use the "virus" to discourage them from downloading, and its working alot, FILSETUBE and a site called Newalbums.net have been loaded with viruses lately, so if anyone hear goes there, get ready to shell out alot of cash.

Until now, I've never heard of FILSETUBE. That alone tells me the site isn't doing so good anyway because it's not popular. lol

.

At least I know Dailymotion exist. This site has been the pepsi to YouTube's coke for years now.

.

Remember Megavideos? At one time they were suppose to be the next big thing, including paying uploaders after their videos received a certain number of views. The last time I checked, Megavideos shut down a few years ago. Most likely they weren't good enough to complete with YouTube at all.

lol I stopped using Filestube...

I'm relatively certain YouTube has never made money.

Do you think Youtube should continue to burn through Google's cash so that you can watch videos for free, or is it fair that YouTube is trying to figure out how to actually make money?

I doubt they never made money. Least not after 2006, 2007. They could've made more money if they hadn't agree to merge with Google but oh well. Like I said, you do have to pay for some YouTube content now because of full movies posted on the site so it's been happening. Like I said, the subscribe option is probably for the premium channel content.
