Hopefully it's not Pusha T, Snoop Lion, Drake, and Wiz Khalifa Feat. Mariah Carey & Miguel

I thought I'd never miss those ballad-heavy albums she built her legacy on, but I really do. Now, each new album/single announcement makes me cringe.

1. Miguel is a great singer and they could potentially sound wonderful together with the right song.
2. There is no way to tell whether or not this is any good from that 26 loop of 3 seconds of the song.
3. Is the giggling supposed to be sexy? If not, what's so funny?
4. The look on her face says, "I'm taking a big one." Is that intentional?
5. OH GOD!!! I missed the kicking off of the red bottom from atop the motorcycle. HAH!
6. I can't wait to play this for my friends over cocktails so that we can laugh.

Well i will take Miquel over "Insert the rapper of the month" that she usually uses, though i have heard that this record is going to see alot of collabos more than before, so it all depends on who those are with, but still collabos get tired after awhile. I totally understand what people were saying about the new LL featuring EVERYONE, though its a really good record and the "Guests" are talented artists, there is almost no one he is collaborating with i would buy normally, except van halen. So for Mariah, Miguel is a step up, better yet a LEAP up from the days of Cam"ron guest spots, i still would not normally be listening to Miquel anyway. I think when i saw an interview with Donnie Wahlberg recently of NKOTB he said it best when he said , No one is on this album but us, they are doing the record really with no label, no guests, producers from overseas, because like he said the last album was good , but it had way too many guests, from Lady GaGa to New Edition, it was cool, but too much.

Why even release a teaser if they aren't going to give us a few seconds of the actual song??? I'm not a Miguel fan but I suppose just about anything is better than that rubbish she released a few months ago with Rick Ross and whoever that other dude was.

What if the song really starts with 26 seconds the guitar sample being rewound over and over while she laughs?

I love rap but that is so true. I like Miguel too, so I'm looking forward to this.

Mariah's song will premiere on radio in 2 hours ( 7 AM EST) and then an hour after that ( 8 AM EST) will be available at itunes.

I hope I'm not disappointed this time

It's an improvement from her recent past. She and LA sure are riding Miguel's coattails on this one.

Here again, she's the featured artist on her own shit. 1:30 is almost half the length of the song. However its not as bad as that last joint she released featuring the Justice League of Rappers.

I know. Mariah went back to the Sony fam probably a year or two ago. Technically, LA is CEO/President of Epic Records but I'm not sure if she signed with Sony or Epic but either way, rest assured he will have some influence in the album's direction being that they're both under the same corporate umbrella.

I'm just grateful this was not a euro-dance tune, no rappers or auto tune. Pretty decent song. Since this is appearing on her album, the only thing I would change is that she would sing the first few lines of the song and Miguel would come in later.

Some ass at American Idol (they premiere the video on Wednesday) was saying "I love the song, the only issue is its too short" Bullshit man, its not too short shes barely on it, call it what it is. Second issue, the mixing is god awful, whoever engineered this track its possibly the worst ever, production wise its horrific, had it had more live feel and a band are something real in there, besides that overdubbed guitar, not really on there. this might have been more interesting.

Somehow Mariah's digital piano and drum machine days sound less artificial.

I agree. This really should be credited as a duet, instead of her "featuring" him I've listened a few more times now and I do like it. All of a sudden it made me think she was going for an updated, duet version of "Dreamlover" This song is already top 10 on itunes so people are digging it. We'll see how long it lasts but it's a good sign. This is a good career move for both Mariah and Miguel. It will help him crossover more while Mariah can appeal again to the younger crowd.

If you have a song that is 3 minutes and you arent on it till 1:30 and when you are on it, you are sharing the vocals, sorry its barely her song, if you flip and she starts it its the same thing to me, the song is ok, badly mixed though, engineered poorly hopefully it gets cleaned up for the album, cause its a poor mix.

So you mean to tell me, Mariah's got a new song but Miguel's leading it for a good minute and a half?

Mariah and Miguel solo songs are way better than this, I thought with them together it would be a banger. I don't hate the song, it's just not what I was expecting. And I guess this album will be Mariah and friends since she barely sings her songs now.
