Nobody should be on the series EVER again until they change the name of the show to "Sing out Loud"...or "Life's a Melody"....They won't listen to me and I know what I'm talking about.

I'm with YOU, Chancellor!

By calling it "Unsung," there's that connotation that the featured performers' careers were void of success. It's misleading and only invites confusion from the viewers and those who know otherwise. smile

Has Unsung even gotten to the "Aughts" yet?

An alternative view.

Unsung refers to present recognition moreso than past accomplishment. As in, "who is talking about these great artists today? Why don't we?"

That's why the show resonates. All the artists featured had some success. Some had great success. But they're not as talked about today.

I get that....I never stated the show wasnt a Hit for the Network....I still feel the name should be changed...Unsung to some Artists & Viewers is defined as "Has been" or "Never was"....The Great Stephanie Mills can tell you better than I can.

I understand what you're saying and I can see your point, just offering another way to look at it. We're just splitting hairs, after all. I used the term "resonate," not "hit," because honestly I don't know the ratings.
