I play
something like this.
in the 70's and 90's, the competition between albums would be much greater and the choice more difficult.

Rhythm Nation came out in 1990, so it just missed the 80s mark.
Why you always hiding when you pick a song or artist that might not be favorable
Regardless if it sucks, if thats what you like than thats what you like
I will come back with my Top 20 in a bit [Edited 2/26/13 0:11am]

You know whats funny? I have this album for one but its been a minute since I looked at the credits and played the album.
Oddly, Ive always assumed it to be a 1990 album for some reason. I think since it was released in September of 1989 most people associate it with 90s. I have even read publications that suggest it was released in 1990.
But I stand corrected, thanks.

To be fair, the album had hits that were in 1990 and 1991. Every single from "Escapade" to "Love Will Never Do" were released in 1990 and 1991. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

This was hard. I don't really like much 1980s music. My list is mostly just decent albums that my favorite artists released in the 1980s. There are only a few on my list that I think are very strong albums.
1. Michael Jackson – Bad (1987) 2. Caetano Veloso – Cores, Nomes (1982) 3. Bruce Springsteen – Nebraska (1982) 4. John Lennon/Yoko Ono – Double Fantasy (1980) 5. Lionel Richie – Can’t Slow Down (1983) 6. Prince – Controversy (1981) 7. U2 – The Joshua Tree (1987) 8. Yoko Ono – Season Of Glass (1981) 9. Bob Dylan – Oh Mercy (1989) 10. Laurie Anderson – Big Science (1982) 11. Gilberto Gil – Luar (1981) 12. Bruce Springsteen – Born In The U.S.A. (1984) 13. Prince – Parade (1986) 14. Sonic Youth – Daydream Nation (1988) 15. Bob Marley & The Wailers – Uprising (1980) 16. Michael Jackson – Thriller (1982) 17. Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 (1989) 18. Yoko Ono – It’s Alright (I See Rainbows) (1982) 19. Marvin Gaye – In Our Lifetime (1981) 20. Jorge Ben – Benjor (1989)
