OMG. Sisquo performs thong song in front of dozens

"She had dumps like a truck truck truck ... "

In the mood now? Good ...'cause we got SisQó performing his giant, monster, ENORMOUS hit, "Thong Song" last night -- which is HUGE -- but where he performed it is the real story here.

We found the R&B star doing his signature song from 2000 in Washington, DC suburb ... Alexandria, VA. But not in an arena -- a sports bar. A REALLY cramped, small sports bar.

You gotta see the video ... 'cause poor SisQó has to dodge bouncers and waitresses just to do a dance move.

Reminder ... "Thong Song" went all the way to #3 on the charts ... and SisQó used to perform it to sold out arenas with thousands of people singing along, "That thong thong thong thong thong!"

Things change.

Fun fact (for everyone but Sisqó): "Thong Song" was blocked from #1 by ... Santana's "Maria Maria."

People kill me with...he or she use to sell our arenas...rolleyes

Times change, music changes and fans grow up.

If Sisquo comes out with a mature album, he can garner a new fanbase. He is very talented and can do it. He is more popular to down himself to a Sportsbar though. He can easily sell out or half way sell out a theater.

Last year, his former Dru Hill bandmate Woody did an impromptu performance at a tea shop here. It was kind of sad to watch because half of the people there just thought he was a crazy man who decided to burst out in song and no one clapped sad

If you will, so will I

I'm surprised that none of you guys did a thread about Jodeci's recent concert disaster, where they were booed by the audience after only a few minutes. lol They had not rehearsed, sounded terrible and were probably high or drunk.

Sorry to go off topic,lol

Anyone with the gall to be so cavalier about performing deserves to be boooed.

Not surprised. I saw them K-CI and JoJo a couple summers ago opening for
Maze after Fantasia had to cancel due to her pregnancy and personal drama.
They were awful. They only performed 3 or 4 songs and left the stage and did
not perform their most popular song All My Life. WTF?

Is this the one where Dalvin jumped off stage, landed on his back, hurt himself, and had to walk it off before returning to the stage? lol I didn't see the whole show, nor do I want to. shake i wouldn't go see those guys for free.

That's one of them. Here's most of the performance. DeVante wasn't there....

Dru Hill was also on the bill and from what I saw they looked great. They joined Jodeci on "Get on Up."

You know how many of our beloved legendary acts from the 60's, 70's and 80's who were way more successful than Sisqo are now performing at bars and free festivals? Lots! And there are some who can't even land those kinds of gigs.

Everyone thinks that just because Madonna is supposedly worth a billion dollars that every artist should be on that level.
