Thanks for posting. I'm a little suprised to learn she would like to collaborate with Timerlake and Timberland though. That would be interesting. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

I was surprised when she mentioned John Mayer, but, I think that would be a really good collaboration. I also really liked her list of musical influences; it was a little bit of everything. Dyes Got the Answers 2 Ur ?s

Cheers for your chat with her. Enjoyed the part about her performance with Prince and I'm gonna re-read your page, as I browsed over some details of her thoughts.
I think I bought her "A Moment" album first, where she also mentions in the liner notes some great artists as her inspiration. That album was around the time when a new soul era was about to introduced by Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Tony Toni Tone and others. New Jack-ish tracks with Chuckii Booker (Bad By Myself) and Keith Crouch (Rise) are some of the uptempo grooves I dig. "Let Me Love You" is a great album opener.
Later I found her debut with cool tracks such as "It's Something" (great official video also which I later discovered online) and "Baby Don't Cry". The mighty Miss Angela Winbush worked with her on that album.
I still wanna check her albums "Outrun The Sky", "Self Portratit" and "Where It All Begins". Also her collaboration project "The Song Lives On" with Joe Sample.
From "Self Portrait" I noticed her video for "Let Go" when it was released, which has a good vibe a fun shots of her rollerskating with a friend.
Saw her perform about three times. Two concerts with Marcus Miller's band and one show with The Daughters Of Soul where her voice was introduced as "like butta"
Beautiful soul and spirit. I'd like to see her collaborate with her sister Kenya for a project.

What a beautiful woman she is. I have yet to see her perform live but have saw a few live clips of her performing online. Yes Outrun the Sky and Self Portrait are must haves. I like Where It All Begins too but just not as much as the previous two. Don't laugh at my funk

Cheers for the tips and yeah, she's a beauty After one of Marcus Miller's shows I had her sign a Miller flyer-poster. If I'll ever get a second sign chance then it will be for this one
