I like this a lot. Adult and SEXY, and blatant without being being disrespectful. Good for the car and the party.
I know that "get up" in boatloads of forms goes back before James Brown even, and there is an "erebody" twist on it in this song, but it rings like the opening of Square Biz for me the way it gets laid down. Extra points on that. | |

Hmmm, I wish he did this one in his falsetto all the way through. That's just a personal preference. I also hear Marvin's music in this. T.I.'s rap wasn't needed in my opinion. This one is just okay for me. Looking forward to seeing what's coming next, especially his disco songs. | |

Aside from shaking off recent Justin Timberlake comparisons, Robin Thicke is busy putting the finishing touches on his sixth studio project.
And although the not-yet-titled opus is still in production, Thicke recently shot the video for its first single, “Blurred Lines,” featuring T.I. and Pharrell Williams.
VIBE TV caught up with the R&B crooner on the set of the video shoot, where he revealed details on his forthcoming release.
“I never really try to plan my albums out, I just write what I’m going through and try to make songs that I would love to hear,” he said.
“It’s got a lot of up-tempo stuff more than I normally make. And then it’s got those sexy ballads and heartfelt music. I never like to repeat myself. I always try to make sure every album is completely different from all the others that I made. So hopefully I accomplished that.”
