It's ok. Do I hear Michael's voice sampled there? It feels so MJ-and-Prince-like.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

I forgot Robin was signed to Star Trak/Interscope Records. Maybe that explains why another artist hasn't worked with the founder/s of Star Trak Records since their debut release.

Anyway, I like the tune. It's fun. It's kind of cool to hear Robin outside of his falsetto. He actually showed a different range here. T.I. is short as hell. smile

It sounds like Pharrell produced this! its funny & rare to see T.I. dancing... biggrin

I like it though. Its very catchy.....T.I. kills his verse as usual.....

Justin Timberlake was a child prodigy & a member & heartthrob of a very well received Boyband NSync. Similar to MJ. He already had a build in audience. Plus he can dance...

I do think Thicke has a solid voice. The song is catchy and overall I like it but what I don't like are the "bitch" and "ass" lyrics. I'm not a prude and I'm fine with them in other songs but I just think if you're trying to get a girl to sleep with you, don't use those words lol disbelief That is not sexy IMO.

Anyone else think that girl with the ponytail resembles Beyonce a bit? lol

He is not a child prodigy, he is not similiar to MJ and he can not dance. neutral

I just like looking at Pharrell. He is a beautiful man.

Justin Timberlake started playing the guitar at the age of four. By the age of ten he mastered playing the piano and drums.

Could you describe for us what you mean by this? How is Robin Thicke objectively

"way better" than Justin Timberlake? Hell, how's he even subjectively "way better"

than Justin Timberlake?

That'll clear up some of this confusion for me.

Thanks!

Also the songs that we're brilliantly sung by Justin on his multi platinum debut album "Justified" we're originally written for MJ......

you're the man to ask: is it just me or do i hear bits of "give it to me" and even "hard candy"

in that bassline and percussion?

hmmm I'll have to listen again lol

I do hear a Marvin Gaye "Got To Give It Up" vibe in this song

I'm hearing (I THINK.) "Got To Give It Up" from Marvin Gaye, but yeah...I can TOTALLY hear the "Give It To Me" by Madonna similarity TOO! It's da JOINT! smile

I really haven't been a Robin Thicke fan. His music bores me. I just can't get into slow lover man jams throughout an entire album but this joint right here is great. I love it. I hope the new album leans more in this direction. The video is hot too!
