Gotye - Making Mirrors this is the kind of mature, thoughtful, deliberate, and nuanced record I wish Prince still made
If you don't have it get it... and actually I can understand why they were excited the other night to be presented the award from Prince
You can hear the influence although they are far more mature... P often writes songs that Taylor Swift would perform

Love it. I've had this CD on repeat for the last year. Not sure if it's supposed to be a concept album or not, but on top of the fantastic songs and sound, the tracks are very well sequenced.
This also takes me back to the days of vinyl, in the sense that this is the classic "just over 40 minutes" album that would have slotted perfectly onto an A and a B side. Definitely a case of quality over quantity.
Awesomely atmospheric album that captures many moods.

If you like Making Mirrors you should check out his 2006 album Like Drawing Blood. Just as good.
