The Temptations- Smiling Faces Sometime
I have always prefered this verson over the Ojays and Undisputed Truth ones. ( I do love the other versions to but the Temptations one is my favorite) I just think the production is more haunting and it fits the deceptive nature of the song. | |

The O'Jays cover, to me was tad overproduced.... less is more especially pertaining to the subject matter of this song. I"m slowly weening myself off of Al. 
The Temptations rarely missed at anything but imo Undisputed Truth's version trumps this one. The haunting sound and vocals on Truth's fit the group perfectly. Don't laugh at my funk

I love all the versions. I just think the Temptations were the best mainly because of the production. The Ojays version is fun and fast but it doesnt fit the theme. | |
