Recorded September 1995

Songwriters: ., MADONNA / FOSTER, DAVID

You think that I can't live without your love
You'll see,
You think I can't go on another day.
You think I have nothing
Without you by my side,
You'll see
Somehow, some way

You think that I can never laugh again
You'll see,
You think that you destroyed my faith in love.
You think after all you've done
I'll never find my way back home,
You'll see
Somehow, someday

All by myself
I don't need anyone at all
I know I'll survive
I know I'll stay alive,
All on my own
I don't need anyone this time
It will be mine
No one can take it from me
You'll see

You think that you are strong, but you are weak
You'll see,
It takes more strength to cry, admit defeat.
I have truth on my side,
You only have deceit
You'll see, somehow, someday

All by myself
I don't need anyone at all
I know I'll survive
I know I'll stay alive,
I'll stand on my own
I won't need anyone this time
It will be mine
No one can take it from me
You'll see

You'll see, you'll see
You'll see, mmmm, mmmm

You'll See" was commercially successful, reaching the top five in Austria, Canada, Finland, Italy and the United Kingdom. The single managed to peak at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, making Madonna one of the only three artists in the Hot 100 history to have a hit peak at each position from one to ten on the chart. An accompanying music video was directed by Michael Haussman as a sequel to Madonna's previous music video for "Take a Bow". An alternate Spanish version, written by Argentine singer-songwriter Paz Martinez, also received a music video, and was included on the Latin American edition of Something to Remember.

She will never do a farewell tour. ever. She'd consider that limiting herself. Didnt she say after the Blond Ambition tour that she'd never tour again in her life. i think she said in 1998 that she didnt expect to be parading round Madison Square Garden at the age of 50. cut to the age of 54 and she's a touring machine.

I know, she may pair it down, do diverse smaller shows ie Bedtime Story storytime in NYC back in 1994

I guess when you're young you think (and people tell you) 50 is old

I love this song, but it's so sad to me.I figure that when she finally does a farewell tour, this would be the final song in the setlist.

the show is over.....say goodbye

mmmmm

hmmm the more I think about it,that would be too depressing.Madonna is all about dance music! She would close the show with "Holiday" or "Music"! Not a sad ballad lol

Ahhh back when Madonna was good.

Some of the songs off Bedtime Stories & Ray Of Light are great.

After that loser

The sequel to this song was great to

I don't especially like "Take A Bow", but "You'll See" is one of my favorite Madonna songs..

and I also think that her best songs were from the albums Bedtime Stories & Ray Of Light.

Yeah I agree that some of the most creative work and videos of her career came out then and were ahead of their time in a big way, when it came to music videos. She had also said dance music will be huge in the future and it's happening right now with everyone doing it, but I still love 90s dance music and remixes better.

Ray of light was a much stronger album, but bedtime stories single and several album cuts were great.
