Unknown R&B track featuring Charlie Wilson?

Hey guys,

I got this one track here and I don't know anything about it except that Charlie sings some passages near the end at 6:32. Has anyone of you ever heard this track? Sounds dope.

This song was produced by Ronnie & Charlie Wilson. The version you posted is a remix

This is the regular version:

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Charlie also produced Pebbles' Mercedes Boy which sounds similar to I Wanna Ride, and Take Your Time and Do Me Right from the same album.

Oh, man! Thanks a lot! I know Maniquin! I think I used to have this album, wasn't Kenny Lattimore a member of this band?

Yeah, Kenny was the lead singer.

"I Wanna Ride" was written as an "answer" or "comeback" record to "Mercedes Boy" hence the similar sound.

Charlie Singleton of Cameo also worked on the Maniquin album.
