She did decently, for her standards[*chuckles*], the ending, I don't know what that was. But I was okay with it. I was expecting worse because her voice hasn't been in great shape for a while now. However, it was decent. I have heard much worse in my lifetime.

yah, that's nice. i wasn't feeling her new 'do at first, but i like her dress and that piano stool looks comfy.

The arrangement was nice. Hard to do anything different and new with that tired song. But her voice sounded like crap to me. Am I crazy? She was crackin and hoarse from what I remember.

Her rendition was terrible. Instead of "Girl on Fire" her album should be called "Vocal Chords on Fire" because that's what it sounded like.

if she didn't strain and oversing she'd be alright. her tone, etc. i like "girl on fire" (song on fire) and "no one" (before moms liked it ) and still could handle "doesn't mean anything" if one of you posted it. like if prince sang "adore" like "temptation" EVERYTIME, i would never appreciate either song. i digress, nametags are hot. I kept reading where Alicia did such a wonderful job??? I was beginning to get concerned that I may have a hearing problem because what I heard was horrific! It was just a smidge above Roseanne Barr's version.

I liked it too and she looked Smoking-Hot & Elegant which is nothing new...Trying to sing the Anthem while playing is a Feat in itself...She gets props for pulling it off.....Alicia pushes herself vocally. She's not a lazy singer what-so-ever. I like that she challenges herself with every CD and every live performance.

Rosanne's was the best ever, more than a smidge above all the rest. She is a stand up comic/actress. Those expecting something other than what she laid out had some misguided expectations. Yes that Red Dress was Clinging RIGHT to that body...LOL... I remember and you probably remember back in her younger days she dressed Tom-boyish sitting behind a piano...Then when she finally got noticed by Clive I think or somebody, they REVAMPED LiLi's whole image...Making her more "Girly" for the Consumer market......

It wasn't that bad...

I don't like her rendition, and it was pitchy, however that probably has to do with monitoring,

probably could hear herself properly. Thats usually the issue.

It wasn't a great performance and I expected more of her but it wasn't the worst ever
