PLEASE Tell Me This Was An iTunes Hit! An International Smash? Because I slept on this hard for the longest time. Not only slept on, avoided, thinking it couldn't be as good as I was hearing. Then just now, while doing a Youtube search for a George Michael video, I came across this for the umpteenth time and decided to listen. I can't believe this wasn't all over the airwaves. I haven't heard anything so refreshing in such a long time.

Now that's a good song! Thanks for showing this. I hope the other stuff she's done is just as good

You should listen to the whole True ep. "Locked in Closets" is my Jam

That's the reason I avoided it so long, shamefully.

You know those purchases where even just one song is worth the price of admission? This might be one of those cases. Will definitely check the cd.

According to my itunes I listened to it 47 times.....so yes, it was an Itunes hit!!
You have to check to whole cd, this is not even to best track on it.

Isn't this still relatively new? Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Yeah, the physical cd just came out a few weeks ago. Check out the song Bad Girls too with Verdine White playing on it.

Now that's just plain ignorance..avoiding an artist because you don't like her sister. What are you...12? 1 over Jordan...the greatest since

I love her sister. THAT was the problem.

As someone who made entire albums from looping samples, I find the yelp in Solange's loop grating.

I can't stand Janet Jackson's voice because I like MJ's voice so much better. Janet sounds like a whispy deflated flat tire compared to her brother.
I get his point. | |

I did add "shamefully" in my statement. Can't ya'll read?
Yet even though it's silly to disregard someone because of association it does happen. Plus I have an aversion to celebrity by association. I call it the Ray J principle.
At the risk of sounding mean or offending any of his fans, I'm going to go out on a limb and just say that for someone as woefully untalented as Ray J is, it stands that the only reason he's had the career he's had is because of his big sister Brandy. Would anyone care otherwise?
You might also find it by leafing through The Federline Files which foisted a hapless Kevin Federline into the public conciousness due to his marriage to Britney Spears. He's had a few TV shows and a "rap" album I believe.
So yeah, I was guilty of convicting by association, but it happens in the best of circumstances. Just look at how little respect the Jackson brothers get, and they were IN a group with Michael and have written and produced some solid tracks.
