I hope I talk this well at 80 years old plus, and he's blessed enough to where he doesn't have to walk around w/a cane...

EVERYBODY who's fortunate enough, will grow old, nobody is exempt from it, if they are lucky enough to reach it.....

his mind is as clear as a whistle

I know people in their 60s who can't tie their shoestrings

and the reason he keeps talking about the same stuff is because he's ASKED the same questions verbatim, he can't sit there and talk about the good stuff, the years when this stuff meant something, he can't talk about things like the book that came out in 1980 called PAPA JOE'S BOYS, a book that did not depict him the way he's been depicted the last 25 years....

he can't sit there and talk about amazing moments such as the TRIUMPH TOUR because the media won't let him....think Pierce Morgan knows anything about that tour? he's totally oblivious to it

see, he can't talk about this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHUXbAGNfVg

most of the world couldn't relate to that...but it would absolutely love it

towards the end of that 2nd clip, one can see cleary where MIKE came up w/the idea of THE LEAN and the kick shuffle moves that he debuted in the Smooth Criminal video...he had already been doing those moves 9 years before the fact

Joe can't talk about it, and neither can anyone in the family.......those years are gone.....as if they never happened....

[Edited 2/1/13 17:43pm]

I was thinking the same, he did similar things in the 70's with movement that people familiar with solo epic mj have no clue about, though I love mj from all decades, solo and group.

this is true

the world, commercial media to this day believes MIKE didn't start wearing the glove until he performed BILLIE JEAN on MOTOWN 25 in 1983

but the fact is he started wearing the glove in 1979, 4 years before the fact, and commercial media STILL doesn't know this which behooves me, but it doesn't want to know, or either knows but don't want to acknowledge it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZX63W7-GycA

and his spins were tighter, more intricate and spontaneous

this is when he would spin to lead into another round of spins...always my favorite dance move by MIKE

I knew about the shiny black glove in the late 70's years ago, I'm pretty sure it was through fans if not a fansite or documentary focusing on his music.

I also love the spins, they were magical in the destiny era and bad era when he would land on his knees after

It's nice how after all these years, still during Super Bowl Week, MJ still gets his due for changing the Super Bowl halftime show and is still is remember by most as the best half time show ever. It's things like this that spit at those that try to downplay his 90's era.

How Michael Jackson Saved The Super Bowl

It wasn’t the competition on the gridiron that turned the Super Bowl into the world’s most valuable sporting event brand. It was competition for the game’s halftime television audience.

The NFL had been doing something special for the Super Bowl’s halftime show since its first contest in 1967. The game plan was working fine as viewership and advertising rates kept increasing. But in 1992 Fox boss Rupert Murdoch spotted a weakness: the Super Bowl’s halftime acts weren’t hip. Some decent names performed. But not the really big ones. People stopped watching. Especially the young, hip audiences advertisers crave.

Fox, which had not yet become a partner of the NFL, saw a way to score: During the 1992 game, when Gloria Estefan was performing, Fox had its popular show In Living Color do a live Super Bowl spoof, complete with a game clock so viewers could see when the second half of the Super Bowl was going to start and switch back to CBS. The episode of In Living Color was a huge hit. Ratings for the second half of the Super Bowl crashed 10 points.

Makes sense. If you are twentysomething and have had a couple of beers, would you rather see a show produced by Rosie Perez with Keenan and Ivory Wayans and Jim Carrey, or Estefan?

The NFL learned this lesson: Don’t skimp on your most-prized asset. Enter Michael Jackson for the Super Bowl’s 1993 halftime show on NBC. The biggest act on the planet for the biggest game. The Super Bowl’s ratings increased 8.6% over the previous year, and just as important, NBC kept its audience during halftime as well as the game’s second half. It was the first time the Super Bowl’s halftime show had a bigger audience than the game.

MJ had scored the Super Bowl’s biggest touchdown and the NFL, which brings us Beyonce today, has never looked back.

Yes Beyonce and Destinys Child were heavily inspired by MJ, but it's annoying nowadays she just gives praise to Prince, now that Mike is dead. It's just a feeling I've been getting from her these past 2 years... But that could also have to do with her being more inspired by Prince now that she's older, I suppose... lol.. Sorry just a random rant...

nod

I bet Michael wasn't too happy with the camera guy for not zooming out a little earlier to capture his feet during this MITM spin. Amazing.

And I wonder if Michael ever wore knee pads during Bad/Dangerous tour. Cuz, ouch.

Alphastreet, I am not sure that MJ died (physically).
not because it is my dream .... I dream of other, more personal things, as an artist MJ will live forever.
but inconsistencies make me doubt.
1) Joe immediately after the death of his son. I dislike Joseph and I consider him a bad person, but it was too much even for him.
2) He died in the same way as his father in law. is suspicious.
3) he was in Paris after his death hmmm

Other inconsistencies made me doubt too though I know we will never know the truth. I've heard things but 2 of them are the most believable. But it could also my denial of how he died...nothing to do with my dream though it was a real nice one wink

Yes.

As you can see in the clip you posted, he is wearing the knee pads right there.

Watch the Wembley DVD, he is wearing them every time he hits the ground from a spin. He is even wearing them at the '88 Grammy's performance.

^^ I'm blind...you're right!!!

@ alpha you know we already have the truth...but I understand how you feel. But as Cool J said, dead or alive no one is alive as him. And it's so true. I see at least one new MJ related article everyday, someone always sings MJ song every time I go to a karaoke bar lol and it seems like someone somewhere is always talking about MJ

But do tell us about your dream wink I don't know why but every time I see MJ in my dream it always ends up being a scary one TT

How we may finally get to hear those MJ/Will.I.Am tracks..

Just read that the Jacksons might be planning a new album featuring production from producers like Will.I.Am. Well there you go. Nobody could care less about the brothers dropping a new album but get those Will.I.Am tracks that he worked on with MJ on there and now there is a lot of interest. Just an idea to keep in mind.

She still shows MJ love. I read on another forum that she said she studied MJ's performance to prepare for her halftime show and I know she has randomly posted pics of MJ on her twitter.

I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I was impressed by her halftime show.

T.J. Jackson 'needs more money' to look after Michael Jackson's children Paris, Prince and Blanket

More cash needed: TJ Jackson said he requires more money to look after Prince, Paris and Michael Jackson

T.J. Jackson needs more money to look after Michael Jackson's children.

Executors for the late King of Pop's estate have requested a judge provide his nephew a reasonable monthly income to provide care for the famous offspring, reports TMZ.com.

T.J was granted co-guardianship of the late singer's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, along with their grandmother Katherine Jackson in July 2012.

According to court documents filed by the executors, while the 34-year-old singer has been devoted to looking after the children for 40 hours per week, he is experiencing hardship as he hasn't received any financial support since taking on the role of surrogate father.

It is proposed that Michael's estate pays T.J. - who is married with three children of his own - $9,000 per month to adequately look after Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10, with the amount backdated to the start of his guardianship last summer.

The former 3T singer, whose father is Michael's brother Tito, has been sharing custody of the Thriller star's children with Katherine since July when the family matriarch allegedly went missing and hadn't been in contact with her grandchildren for days.

The change in guardianship came amidst a messy family dispute in which five of Michael's siblings - Janet, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Tito Jackson - claimed Katherine was being misled by the executors of the estate and ill-advised by her manager and lawyer.

A plan was hashed out last year where responsibility for managing staff and security at their California home would shift to TJ.

Katherine Jackson's lawyer Perry Sanders told a court she would keep control of a family allowance worth tens of thousands of dollars a month.

He added in a statement last July: 'Mrs. Jackson is extremely pleased with the prospect of enjoying the pleasure of raising Michael's children without the day-to-day tedium of items such as managing the large staff that goes with such a high-profile family, and focus her attention on being a grandmother and raising Michael's children.'
