I remember when Wu first came out...ODB was the first one I noticed based on his half sung/half rap flow alone. It stood out tremendously and NO ONE had been doing what he was he was doing. He didn't have a bad singing voice either...somehow it just worked. I know Method became the most popular member in the group but as far as spitting rhymes (even though all 9 members were specifically talented in their own right) ODB was the best...IMO of course.

I think ODB and Meth were the stars of Wu Tang, but for different reasons. Meth was that roughneck heart throb that the girls loved and ODB was loved simply because everyone could relate to him. Everyone has someone in their family like ODB, who when you see them coming, you put the double locks on.

I don't think there were any starts in Wu. Each member (or at least the top 6) made Wu what it is.

RZA: The leader, mastermind, producer of the group.

GZA: Lyrically the best words-man of the 9.

ODB: The wild child of the bunch

Meth: Most charismatic of the crew

Raekwon and Ghostface: Spoke more to the streets than the others.

The other 3 (or 4) are just extra

Deck: Underrated lyrcally

Masta Killa: The wise one

God: Hit or miss

Cap: Honorary Wu Tang member
