How would you rate Seal as a singer? In a way he is kind of cheesy to me cause of all those remakes he was doing at one time. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries." | |

I saw Seal earlier this year here in Vegas and the show was great!!! Very charasmatic and a beautiful voice. I was concerned about the covers but the few that he did, were passionate esp. when he did "love don't live here any more." This was just after he and Heidi split up. I had forgotten how many great songs he had of his owm. Worth the ticket! | |

I like Seal's voice because it is unique and his own. I've paid attention to his voice and music style since his mega success with "Kiss by a Rose"...
On a scale of 1 to 10 I give his Vocals a 5. | |

Man come on script he did like 2 or 3 remakes

not counting that tribute soul album which was blah.I love his voice.
I thought he did a good job on the first soul covers album he did, but I would like to see him release original music again. | |

Regardless of what he sings he is in my Top 3!

Interesting that some or most of you gave Seal's vocals a 10.....A 10 to me is Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross territory.
Every single music Lover/listener hears something different when they listen to music but a Maximum 10 is Masterful singing on the Singing scale.
So some of you might be scoring Seal's vocals with your Heart and not your Head.

Hmmm i kind of agree with Chancellor and i would Seal imo is a 7/7.5 out of 10
