The Jayhawks On April 8th the Jayhawks release their new studio CD, its there first since SMILE back in 2000. The SMILE cd was very underrated and got lost on the SONY label. Sony was trying to get the JAYHAWKS airplay on Top 40 stations and Tv shows like Dawsons Creek, BAD IDEA!!! I havent heard anything yet on this CD but THE Jayhawks usually do good work and I doubt they are selling out with this CD, they are back on a division Label, called LOST HIGHWAY which does the Johnny Cash cds. Why would that be a bad idea? If they want to avoid being dropped, you would think they would want some of that promo. I havn't heard the last one but people say it's good, as is this new one. Also good, Hollywood Town Hall. | |
