That whole record is just so cheap, trashy, punk-metal with tons of great hooks, even the cover is brilliant. Nikki Sixx was kind of a genius back then. Wish he could do it again.

Rock music - is my favorite style, but 80s have not been the best for rock, although there were some incredible songs and my favorite Scorpions, Metallica, Depeche Mode, GnR etc. produced some of their best albums

Anybody got any nice 80s rock like the songs below? (I am not very familiar with rock, I believe they fall into the SOFT ROCK/AC ROCK categories, please correct me if I am wrong).

I noticed ...

Chaka Khan, D'Angelo, Luther Vandross, Erykah Badu, Sade, and some other guys, about whom I know almost nothing are extremely popular here.
Not a lot of threads here where I can talk .... but I still love this place.

"The org is a laid back R&B forum"....I kinda disagree with that.

There's a lot of orger's who like and have praised all different forms of music on here besides R&B, funk and soul. There are a lot of metalheads (including myself) on here also. Some may be afraid to mention it because they may get bashed by other orgers but who cares? I don't.

We've even had threads on black metal bands (not death metal) like The Brains, Sound Barrier, Pure Hell, Blk Vampires, etc.

I've seen all of the 80's hair metal bands back then and "Virgin Killer" (next to "Tokyo Tapes") is my fave Scorps record. If it wasn't for KISS I would have never gotten into hard rock or heavy metal.
