Also, I always thought Dez Dickerson's Modernaire kind of reminded me of Kraftwerk's Pocket Calculator.

Love these guys.............I think they are underrated.

This was released a few years ago (at least in Europe it was) and is actually quite dull and doesn't really bring anything new to the table in terms of footage or info. It would have been better if all the Kraftwerk members had actually taken part. It's a bit long winded, but if your interest is in electronic music and it's early origins then this is a decent enough watch. I can't help but feel it could have been condensed into a couple of hours though.

Indeed, but it's good that it served that purpose for you and probably others will enjoy it for the same reason.

I pretty much prefer late-80s/90s electronic music

but yeah, the 70s started it all, the age of pioneers...

Three hours is a bit too much to watch.

I watched bits and pieces from here and there and caught someone speaking bullshit about Tangerine Dream, so I decided I'm not going to watch the whole thing if they really included that there. Insisting that Kraftwerk were somehow more important as pioneers of electronic musics than Tangerine Dream is just f-king n00b-ish to me.
