Yes! I am SO loving them right now. I resisted for a long time cuz of the Joy Division comparisons, but now I embrace the similarities. They're a great new band.

Ok cool - I just wanted a prince fan's point of view.
I went to see them live about a week ago and they were really good.

I wasn't really a fan yet and I went to see them last time they were in Mpls a few months ago. OK show, for having only one album. They just weren't very exciting to watch. They looked good, but not a lot of energy. Maybe they were having an off night. Weird crowd, too. Seemed like people went to the show to see and be seen, not necessarily to enjoy a great new rock band. When they were on stage, we were right near the front and most of the people around us could barely be bothered to clap when they finished a song...

But I liked what I heard, for the most part, and will probably pick up their album soon.

I thought they sounded terrific live, altho the crowd was NOT into the show at all...I enjoy the cd a lot, too...it's good stuff!

same here in TX - not a big crowd at all - and no one seemed to be into them - and again , everyone there was too good to show appreciation
