I think the only track I think is fun is "What Christmas Means to me". Other than that...

He redid "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"...oh lawd no.

And Mariah's "All I Want for Christmas"... Now I'm no die hard Mariah fan, but no one can't pull that song off like she can.

And actually, even though Donnie Hathaway's version of "This Christmas" is more popular, I tire of hearing it on the radio every single Christmas. So much so, that even though his version is a soulful classic, to me, it's become stale over the years (to my ears). I actually prefer The Whispers version of this song instead. It's more soothing, and I find that I can listen to it anytime without it irritating the hell out of me:

i watched this on mute just to focus on the visuals and not the vocals. it definitely seems like a detraction from the song. i'll probably listen to the song while NOT watching the video too to give an honest critique of CeeLo's treatment of this classic from a musical standpoint. all versions are extremely overplayed but Donny's is untouchable. I concur with the love given to Vanessa's What Child is This. love that woman!

Well you can't knock the man for being bold enough to try it. I do like Cee Lo and have liked him since he was in Goodie Mob, I think he can sing well, but sometimes his choices make me give him the side eye.

Cee lo is just a big old freak.
