Who's version you enjoyed more? Cover songs

There are a lot of songs that have been done over so many times. sometimes tthe person can cover the song and take it to another level(being a big hit, reaching number 1)..tell me who versions you like better,if I miss anu=yone,please let me know:

AFAIK no one has heard the 1984 version, the version we know is a live version from 1991 - 92.
